I know this sale is over but there must be some variations on how the points print at each certain stores because when I did the 6 together at my store..it only gave me 2000 points. When I went back I rang them 4 at time (for coupon purpose) and got all my points. My question I guess is, ” Why do the points distribution vary from store to store? ” shouldn’t this be the same at each Walgreens or do we need to ask at each location?

Nothing beats the Kaboom toilet cleaning system. You just have to replace the tablets every few months. For inexpensive refills I buy bromine tablets (the tablets used for spa chemistry).

If you do have rings around your toilet now, use a pumice stone to remove them.

I went today and I got some awesome deals! My Walgreens was advertising the scrubbing bubbles drop ins for .99 each but with the 15% off they came to 2.52 for 3 instead of 2.97. Then with the 3 coupons for .55 each I scored 3 drop ins for a total of .87, thats only .29 each plus 2,000 rewards points! Not to mention I used the B1G1 Free Bic razor coupon that I had been saving and I ended up getting 2 (10) packs for 1.69! Walgreens has them advertized for B1G1 50% off with 15% off the total should have been 3.39 for 2 but the sales associate took off 3.39 for the free amount which was the original price not the sale price. So I scored with that as well. I also got the Carmax lip balms for cheaper. My Walgreens had the lip balms for 1.35 each B1G1 Free. So I got 4 using the .50 coupons for a total of .70! thats only like .18 each! Loving Walgreens right now! I also purchased the advertised Dove bar soap and Arm and Hammer deodorants which are advertised for .99 each but I ended up getting them for .84 a piece with the 15% off which isnt bad considering the original prices! Happy Girl today!

I went into my Walgreens today to get this deal and the drop ins were $4.59 so needless to say I DID NOT get what I wanted! :(

I went back today and did 4 separate transactions and got all my points. I also used a $3 RR to pay for the items so I had to add a filler for the extra coupon. Sale price on 4 = 6.36 plus .59 nice salt ( in ad coup) and 1 halloween cup .13 ( in ad coup) = $7.08 + tax .50 =$7.58
    – 4.00 (2 $2 toilet bowl coup)
    – 3.00 RR from last week
    ————-
= .58 (paid oop including tax for each transaction and got my 2000 points on each transaction (if you ring them together it will only give 2000 for the entire transaction. To avoid the headache…just ring them up 4 at a time and only add a filler/s if you are using the additional RR(register reward/s)

I bought these at Walgreens and I got four 1ct boxes at 1.99ea and used two of the $2.00/2. Then went to Walmart to do some shopping and they had 2ct boxes for only $1.97. Grrrr. I know it’s only a few cents and a few drop-ins but I could’ve saved a trip. Maybe this will help someone else save a trip.

I’m a dad who works swings. I try to do a lot of this stuff during day with the kids to save wife the headache. I agree after doing transactions at RA, CVS, and W. W is my least favorite and biggest headache. Today I learned if you redeem points to make a purchase you won’t earn any points on that purchase. I also learned if you redeem the 5000 points on something less then $5 they still take all the points. I was so frustrated. Good thing I found some clearance items that I had coupons for. I will limit how often I go there. Worse policies hands down

  8. shannong232 says:

my walgreens would not take my coupons for them they said it was because it was too small then i didn’t get all my points i was suppose to get

  9. Electra Trader says:

I bought 2 Pledge Multisurface using B1G1, 4 Scrubbing Bubbles drop ins using two $2/2 coupons and got 4,000 points. However, I do not like walgreens points. I have had to get manual points added each of the last 3 purchases from not getting points as advertized. Had issues with Register rewards not printing too. I prefer CVS.

  10. catalina says:

which date did you get the SS coupon from?

    • Anonymous says:

The coupon above says “from SS 9/23.” That means it came from the Smart Source insert on 9/23.

  11. wal-gone! says:

I totally agree, I stopped shopping at walgreens totally. CVS!!

  12. theresa says:

if you get 6 of these do 2 seperate transactions my store allows 1 points offer per transaction thats how it rings up

  13. ladyj says:

I got these today at Walgreens..Coupons had to be input manually but I only goty 2000 points for 6 toilet bowl cleaners.

New to couponing… Question. How can you use 2 manufacturer coupons on 1 product? I thought you could only use 2 if it was a store coupon then a manufacturer? Help please explain. I’m a little lost. Thanks!

    • Stark says:

If you notice the KCL deal has you buying 3 vanish drop ins, while using two $2/2 and one $0.55/1 for a total of three coupons on three items. One coupon per. You are correct, you can only use one manufacturer coupon per item.

      • guisi says:

Actually, they are only using TWO coupons. The $2.00/2 links to two products and the $0.55/1 to the third.
If you want an even better deal you can buy 6 items and use three $2.00/2 coupons, making the final price only $0.59 each.

  15. Julie Kiefer says:

I just got back from a Walgreens that I normally do not go to but went to specifically to buy these. The $2/2 coupon wouldn’t work, and the cashier would not enter it by hand. She also kept my $.55 off coupon, because she could not get it out of the closed drawer where she put it. Grrr!

  16. Feline Randall says:

My Walgreens wouldn’t let me use the $2/2 scrubbing bubbles coupons. The cashier (not my favorite cashier) said it was because the product was a Vanish product and not a scrubbing bubbles….. Even though the Scrubbing bubbles logo was *way* bigger than that of Vanish.

Anyway, she wouldn’t manually enter them so I didn’t buy them.

Just a heads up, this is a YMMV

  17. sgtlleighann says:

I used the drop-ins once. Never used them again because they caused a black mold to grow in the water tak. Every time the toilet was flushed, black mold was floating in the mold. GROSS! Switched to clear bleach tabs after that.

  18. Candy89 says:

This is kind of off topic but… Is there a limit to how many balance rewards are redeemed? For example: Can you use up $50 all at once or only in a $5 per transaction limit?

    • Vachan1 says:

At the walgreens i go to my total was 11.83 and i wanted to redeem pts. Well the it gave me three options:
      18,000pts for 11.83
      10,000pts for 10.00
      5,000pts for 5.00
Of coarse i chose the 10,000 and paid the 1.83 oop. just be sure when you do redeem pts don’t make a mistake and overpay, because I’m sure you don’t want to gain them to give them all back for nothing….LOL

  19. basie says:

The Walgreens by me had them for$1.83. Then the coupon wouldn’t scan,so they had to put it in manually. I bought 6 of them and I only got 2,000 points. Every time I go to Walgreens I always have problems with coupons. They never let me use them.

  20. Wubbems West says:

Playtex VentAire Bottles 3-pack are 3.99. The single bottles are 3.99 and when I looked at the 3 pack it said save $9.50 and they were 3.99. Now, they did not ring up for 3.99 but when I told the cashier to look at the tag she gave it to me for the price it said. I am not sure if this is a mistake at just the Walgreens that I went to but wanted to give everyone a heads up!

  21. chris says:

is there a limit? could you buy 6 and use 3 2/2 coupons and get 6000 points?

    • Anonymous says:

There is no limit. However, if you purchased six, you would receive 4,000 Points not 6,000. Great deal!
