This coupon must not be available any more. I can not find it anywhere. when I click on the link it brings me to a different page and when I type in redplum it says please sign in to load the $0.50/1 right guard sport. Any thoughts? Am I doing it wrong?

  2. Geeke says:

last weeks redplum also had save two dollars off any right guard extreme. So you can also use two of them making them .45 cents a piece.

  3. Kpavone31 says:

I was able to use all my coupons…..i used 2 $2.00 off coupons for the deodorant, and 3 $1.00 coupons for the detergent and I paid under $3.50 for all 5 products….going back tomorrow since I know they will all work!

  4. sarah says:

I do not see the coupon for Right Guard. Can someone help me?

  5. lexi328 says:

My Walgreens had these for $4.79 instead of $4.49. I paid .80 each but anything is better than paying full price.

  6. C says:

Ugh. I can never get the redplum coupons to print. So annoying.

  7. Kim says:

I went to Walgreens to do the Purex B1G2 free deal, using my 3 printable coupons, and the cashier said, “I don’t think all these coupons will go through the system.” I simply said, casually and calmly, “Let’s try it and see!” He scanned the coupons without any beeps or issues. He was surprised and very cool about it! Our confidence and kindness goes a long way during a transaction like this. I knew it would work because I know their policy. My thought is, if one store is hesitant and doesn’t understand their own coupon policy, try another store. But be kind. You may even teach the management and cashiers something! :)

  8. mama says:

ugh I was so excited to get these today and it was a fail the employee said I couldn’t I was annoyed checked their policy and it doesn’t state you cant do this bummer !

  9. CouponCasey says:

I got 4 deodorants yesterday and used 4 coupons. No problems.

  10. Janet says:

Had the same problem couldn’t use the coupon on the free item:( I just canceled my purchase Walked out sad. The employee & manger were very friendly explaining that b/c the computer reads it as not an iteam it can’t take the coupon off. Thats what I got explain, but really I think They could manually push the coupon though… I’ll just keep trying different stores, see how it goes.

  11. wife/motherof2 says:

I went to one Walgreens this morning to buy the Right Guard deodorant and I had no problem, but I went to another Walgreens they told me I couldn’t use two coupons on B1G1 Free deals. I told the manager that the other Walgreens did it. He said that is not our policy… He did it for me anyway. If it wasn’t there policy there computer would not let it go though.

  12. Roxy says:

Can we use the 2/1 coupon from yesterdays insert?

  13. Maria M Almeida says:

I just went on my lunch break over to Walgreen and was able to use my two coupons! I paid $.67 total with tax!!! Thanks for the tip!

  14. Leah Cook says:

I had no issues with my Walgreens. I did, however, have an issue with the reach toothbrushes coupon. I guess the pressure is coming from corporate because ‘those coupon people’ aka us are getting so much for free that loss prevention is having issues keeping track. This is at least what the really nice manager at my Walgreens explained to me. Its not necessarly a policy change, its that their loss prevention team is no longer allowing overrides on registers due to a few bad eggs.

    • jj says:

There was trouble scanning on mine also (I use the $2 off a 2 pack one). But lady was very nice, look at my bag and override it for me. This is my first time shopping at Walgreens. (I am still fairly new to couponing and has basically been doing it mostly at Rite Aid, because it is closer to home.) But too many good deals this week so I went to Walgreens. I couldn’t find the Kios DS Upset Stomach though, I looked twice at the Children’s medicine section.

    • Lesli says:

I went yesterday and the register didn’t recognize the coupon for Reach either. The nice girl just forced it in anyway because she knew it was valid.

      • Katherine Weaver says:

I went to several walgreens yesterday each one the Reach coupon was being a pain at, one of cashiers said that the Reach company always has issues with their coupons for some reason, one of the cashiers said they couldn’t take it and I told her I had just been to other walgreens that did. She had to have a manager come over but they pushed it through. Although yesterday every register I went to had issues scanning coupons and even the RR’s

      • Sue says:

I had the same problem with the Reach coupon. The clerk called the manager. When she saw that I indeed had purchased the item, she had the clerk enter it manually.

        • Michael says:

That is weird I had a problem too. They even entered it manually and it didn’t work so they didn’t accept it. I am going to try a different wags

    • That’s too bad. You may try another store, because the Reach coupon is totally good and they should enter it manually.

  15. Karen says:

I am always having trouble with security issues on the red plum site. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? Please help!!

  16. Erika J. says:

    Bought:
    (4) Right Guard Xtreme $4.79 each (B1G1 Free)

    Used:
    (4) $2.00/1 – Right Guard Xtreme
    Redeemed 2000 pts ($2)

    Total OOP = .20¢

Did this (2x) so I got (8) Right Guards for only .40¢ ヽ(^o^)ノ

  17. Emily Morrison says:

Walgreens NEVER knows their coupon policy. You hate to argue with the employees and even the management, but they aren’t educated and that is there fault. With the Puff’s tissues promotion last week, they wouldn’t let my transaction get to a zero balance owed. They told me that it was stealing. Ignorant.

  18. kasi says:

They let you. Print their policy and take it with you. The below is straight from their website.

Buy One, Get One Free Coupons

When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.

  19. Wendy says:

I went to Walgreens yesterday and they let me use coupons on the free items without any questions.

  20. Krystle says:

KCL – I had a problem using coupons with the B1G2 Free deal on Purex Packs last week. I was told in store that you can no longer use a coupon on a free item. I called Walgreen’s direct customer care number and was told the same thing – you can only use a coupon on the item you’re paying for. Can you help me out here? I’m not sure what to believe. Thanks! :)

    • ally ski says:

I was told the same thing yesterday by the manager.

      • Krystle says:

And when I looked through the coupon policy, I didn’t specifically see where it said a coupon could be used with a BOGO promotion, so I’m just clarifying. The store and employee on the phone were really nice in explaining it, not rude or anything, I’m just clarifying for my own sake I guess. ha!

      • Christy says:

I always wondered WHY they would let you use a coupon on a free item……it has never made sense to me because you aren’t buying it.

        • Their coupon policy explicitly says you can!

        • ShrewdNorwalker says:

Since their cash register system is based on how many bar codes there are on your transaction. The bar code on the free item from the store can legally have a coupon or register reward attached to it ..for payment ….This site ( KCL ) has changed my life ….

        • KayKay says:

Well, there is really no reason for them not to. Coupons are just as good as cash really. And cash for items we might not have bought otherwise. The store is going to get refunded the value of the coupon, so they view it as us actually paying $2 on a free item. =]

        • Katherine Weaver says:

You are buying it though, according to the register this item is paid for, otherwise you would be shoplifting it if it didn’t go through their register. So because you are purchasing it regardless of the price you can use a coupon on said purchase. That is where the ‘limit one coupon per purchase’ lingo is actually helpful. It is a purchase because it is rang through their system in the act of purchasing. Basically they lose no money in the transaction by allowing the coupon, as they get paid for the coupon by the vendor. Plus they gain the money of having more people in the store for the good deal, it’s actually a very intelligent thing for a store to do.

        • vwick77 says:

When a store has a BOGO promotion and u use a manufacture coupon either BOGO one or $ off the store is getting reinbursed from the manufacturer. They still get paid for that item plus some !!

      • jj says:

I used it this morning on both Purex and Right Guard .. it went through without any problem.

    • Lori Dickerson says:

I didn’t have a problem at my walgreens

    • The coupon policy hasn’t changed, so you can use coupons on the free items! Try a different Walgreens store!
