Personally, I don’t care for the cheaper detergent brands. If I buy detergent, I use All or Tide. I began using the homemade detergent about a year ago and LOVE IT! I use the recipe with washing soda, borax and Fels Naptha. I have swimmers and softball players in my household and have zero trouble with lingering chlorine or sweat smells!

I am new and wanted to know if a similar deal on Purex at Giant was worthwhile. On sale for 2.50 (50 FL oz or 33 loads) plus a coupon save 1$/2. So, down to $2. Yes or no? Do you all even like Purex? New brand for me.

Pizzaz only uses detergents that contain enzymes. Purex does not. Plus the name sounds like generic birth control.

I bought the Purex brand just because it was a great deal. Turns out my sister in law is allergic to enzymes, she can only use Purex! I was so glad I took advantage of the deal and gifted the detergent to her. :-)

Sounds like a good deal. I love Purex, I used to be a loyal Tide user but since I started couponing, I’ve switched over to Purex completely. I feel like it does just as good a job as Tide, but half the cost
