In this week’s Walgreens coupon matchup, we wrote about Mitchum deodorant for $0.99 at Walgreens. The deal is even better than we thought, because there is an unadvertised Balance Rewards Points promotion. Buy two and receive 1,000 Points! Even the Mitchum Clinical deodorants are included in the sale. Take a look:

I use the Mitchum invisible solid. It’s a good strong deodorant that does not require reapplication. Not all deodorants work well for me, but this one, secret, and degree do…but Mitchum by far is the best; not the gel and not the clinical. I like the plain old invisible solid.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Is there a limit on the balance rewards? So if I bought 8 would it give me 4,000 points?

I believe so. I’m going back to get 2 more…only have 1 coupon left though…BOO!

Yes. You can receive all the Points in a single transaction.

Sorry, I’m confused, so is there a limit on earning balance rewards? If so, what would it be?

Can someone explain how this works? I have the coupons it’s just a matter of usin them correctly.

Buy 2 Mitchem deodorants, scan your Walgreen’s card, use 2 of the $1/1 coupons, pay $1.98 (plus tax) and receive 1,000 Balance Rewards points on your card. You can redeem points as early as 5,000 (then every 1,000=$1) or you can save them up and redeem them as high as 40,000 (where every 1,000=$1.25) making it as if you paid $0.49 (or $0.37 if you wait to redeem) plus tax for each stick of deo. HTH (hope that helps)

Good explanation!

Thank you so much! You’re a big help!

BTW, I got them at 49¢ each! Woohoo!

OH SWEET! I have never tried this product until I started couponing NOW I LOVE IT! I was super happy about this deal a week ago but was only able to get 2! SUPER happy to know its back just wondering if I already missed the deal and they are sold out again like last week cause I will not beable to go until tomorrow and people around here are quick! Thanks though I sure hope I get some YAY!

Good luck!

Great deal! I had never bought Mitchum before last week, when there was a similar deal. I got 2 and 1,000 points… .49 each! When I got to the store and smelled the solid scents, I was pleasantly surprised at the fragrances that were offered. Haven’t used it yet, as I am still working on a tube of Dove, but I will be buying these from now on, as I, too, have very sensitive skin when it comes to deodorants. Thanks KCL and Usplus4!!!

You’re welcome!

I dont even see the couon. Is this just a regional coupon?

Most newspaper coupons are indeed regional. Be sure to check both inserts, though, because we have two that are still valid from two different inserts. See the post above.

I have checked both sources listed. I’m also trying to find them online to print out. :(

I didn’t get this coupon in my inserts either. It is the only deodorant my husband uses.

It is still a pretty good deal without the coupons!

It is and I still stock up! :)

Good!

There aren’t any printable Mitchum coupons right now. Sorry!

I live in upstate NY, and I never get Mitchum coupons :(

has anyone tried this brand before?? is it good?

I really like Mitchum. It is the only other brand I use besides Tom’s that does not give me an allergic reaction.

That’s good to know! Thanks for the recommendation!

My bf really likes it but the women’s clinical broke me out :(

Oh no! I wonder if the normal kind that’s not clinical would do the same thing?

Actually I always use Mitchum’s lady deodorant. It works wonderfully and is strong. I tried this very deal last week and got 2 of the clinical strength and it has a bit of a burn to it when applied to my skin.

Thanks for the tips!

Bought the regular…it smells nice, but I haven’t tried it yet. I loved Degree, but had to stop using it as it would do the same thing. Switched to Dove and no problems!

Glad I got the regular!
