Next time you shine off a container of Tic Tacs, think twice before tossing it in the trash.  Instead of sending another piece of plastic to the landfill, let the Tic Tac container save you from your never-able-to-find-a-bobby-pin-to-save-your-life dilemma!

Bobby pins fit perfectly inside these little containers and the snap in place lid will keep them there. No more digging all over your purse for a bobby pin!

Here is how to make your own Tic Tac Bobby Pin Caddy:

  • Enjoy some Tic Tacs and then save the empty container.
  • If you wish to remove the label just soak the container in warm, soapy water and scrape off.
  • Allow to dry completely.
  • Snap open the top and place bobby pins inside. Snap securely shut.
  • You can write your name on it with marker if you wish, so jealous friends don’t try to steal it!

That’s it! You are ready to take your bobby pins anywhere you go. No more digging for them, or running over them with the vacuum.

I also use an M&Ms Minis container to store quarters for laundry!  It’s the perfect size!

Little girls would love the pink tic tac boxes (breast cancer support boxes are tinted pink) and big girls who love pink! I saved mine for “something useful” and this is it! Thanks a million.  (oh, and no choking hazards for the little ones, maybe for teen girls then!)

I absolutely LOVE this idea!!  My daughters dance and I am always carrying bobby pins to competitions and recitals.  Now I have a great way to carry them and a place to put them when the night is over instead of just throwing them in the drawer!!  Thanks for such a clever idea!!

Brilliant! My daughter has to wear a bun 2x a week for ballet class. I’m always finding bobby pins scattered around. And then we can’t find them when we actually need them!

Brilliant indeed. I am going to make each of my teenage daughter’s one of these – maybe I’ll stop finding them all over the house in random places. Thank you :)
