When I think of celery, creating beautiful stamped roses isn’t what comes to mind. But that’s exactly what you can create with those good ol’ green stalks. This is a great activity to do with your kids, especially if you need to send a card to grandma!!! Who knew?
Step 1: Take a bunch of celery and cut it about 2-3 inches from the top of the celery, leaving the head (which we will use as the stamp.)
Step 2: Dip your “stamp” in the paint to create your “roses” or other designs. You might need to water the paint just a little to avoid globs on the paper.
Step 3: Apply even pressure as you stamp and there you have it: beauty with celery!
