Not ready to start couponing the krazy way?

Krazy is the way to get the most savings, but here’s the lazy girl’s guide to couponing to help you get your feet wet.

Watch your back, though — because I may or may not be over here looking for a chance to push you into the deep end of couponing!

1. Only use digital (printable) coupons.

You don’t have the time (or want to spend your time) clipping coupons — and that’s fine! If the only thing you do is use digital coupons, that’s a win in our book.

Subscribe to get your favorite brands’ emails and check out these 32 companies that send instant coupons via email.

2. Don’t bother clipping inserts from the Sunday paper.

When you’re short on time, it’s not necessary to clip every single coupon that you see in the newspaper each week.

When it comes to couponing for the lazy girl — go ahead and skip newspaper inserts like Procter & Gamble, RetailMeNot Everyday (formerly Red Plum), and Smart Source altogether.

3. Instead, let Krazy Coupon Lady find you the hottest deals that’ll save you money.

Need we say more? Download the free KCL app or check out our website for today’s hottest deals and coupons organized by store. We are your personal shopper — scouring newspapers and websites for the best deals to save you the most money. What more could you ask for?!

Let us do the work in finding the best deals out there for you while you sit back and sip on that cup of joe.

4. Only coupon for things you need and frequently use.

Don’t print every single coupon you come across and train yourself how to filter through coupons to look for items you know you use and need. Skip great deals if there’s a chance you won’t use the items.

5. Focus on couponing at one — maybe two stores.

Chances are, you don’t want to spend your valuable time going to three or four stores a week. Pick your two favorite stores, say Target (duh) and Walgreens and shop with coupons at those stores until you feel like you want to do more. Getting started with couponing at drugstores is a good entry-level exercise.

6. Download the free Ibotta app and start getting cash back even after your purchase.

If you haven’t taken the plunge and signed up for Ibotta, now is the time to do it. Ibotta now has more coupons than Coupons.com. What are you waiting for?!

Check the app for rebates before you shop and pay normally at checkout.

7. Save an extra 30% through the (new and improved) Target app.

We’ve got some big news for you if you’re obsessed with Target like we are. The Cartwheel app will be phasing out this summer — but don’t fret! You’ll still see Cartwheel savings within the original Target app.

The app will be your one-stop-shop that’ll give you coupons for products straight to your phone for the cashier to scan. Talk about easy.

Oh, and as a bonus — Target offers free wifi so you’ll never have an excuse not to use the app in-store.

8. Download and use CrayPay on every purchase to instantly save.

CrayPay gives you the ability to get instant rewards like immediate savings on the entire purchase price. No need to pull out coupons or submit a receipt for rebates.

You literally save instantly. Learn all about CrayPay, the new app that rewards you for using it.

9. Use Ebates to get on average 5% cash back when you shop online.

Every time you shop online with your favorite retailers through the Ebates shopping portal, you’ll get cash back.

10. Let Honey automatically find you coupon codes for the site you’re shopping at.

When you’re shopping online, make sure you sign up for Honey first. This website finds you coupons to where you’re shopping and applies them to your order automatically — saving you time and money.

11. Use Restaurant.com to save up to 50% when you eat out.

You’ll never go out to eat again without checking this app first. Just enter in your zip code and see all the deals in your area. Once you’ve found the spot, buy a discounted gift card and save!

Some examples of savings:

$5 certificate for $2
$10 certificate for $4
$15 certificate for $6
$25 certificate for $10

Just remember that many restaurants have a minimum purchase, so be sure to read the fine print.

12. Buy discounted gift cards from Raise or Gift Card Granny to save 12-15%.

Before you make any purchase, take a look at either Raise.com or GiftCardGranny.com for discounted gift cards. On average, you’ll save 12-15% on purchases from your favorite brands.

Use in-store or online on top of any coupons you have.

13. Use Checkout 51 to get cash back on your purchase.

What’s great about Checkout51 is you can redeem some offers up to five times! While most Ibotta offers have a limit of one, many Checkout 51 offers allow you to buy more than one of each item in a single transaction and redeem a rebate for each.

14. Let the Savings Catcher app price match for you when you shop at Walmart.

Savings Catcher lives inside the Walmart app and compares prices of items you bought at Walmart with the advertised prices found in print and online versions of the weekly ads of other major retailers in your area.

If Savings Catcher finds an item cheaper, they’ll refund you the difference with a Walmart eGift card.

15. Use online or in-store promo codes from RetailMeNot.

Get discounts with coupons and promo codes for thousands of stores. RetailMeNot offers promo codes for online shopping as well as printable coupons to use in-store. I’ve been using this website for years and it’s saved me so much money with barely any effort on my end.

16. Use Paribus to get cash back when prices drop.

Paribus tracks prices on your online purchases, and once a price drops, they provide you with all the information to request a price adjustment.

Oh, and they can also help you get compensated for a “guaranteed” Amazon delivery that arrives late.

Paribus compensates us when you sign up for Paribus using the links we provided.
