Although you probably won’t be able to get the Scooby-Doo-themed doughnuts like you could during Halloween 2023, you can count on some spooky-themed treats coming every October.

Each Halloween doughnut cost $0.20-$0.60 more than Original Glazed Doughnuts.
In 2023, Krispy Kreme used the enduring cartoon Scooby-Doo as inspiration for their four new Halloween themed doughnuts, available Oct. 9 through Halloween. But like all specialty doughnuts, you’ll pay a little extra for them. For reference, an Original Glazed doughnut is $1.99, Halloween flair costs an extra $0.20 to $0.60, depending on the doughnut.
Here are the different doughnuts we saw in 2023, with their individual prices:
- Scooby Dooby Doo doughnut ($2.59): an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in blue icing and decorated with green icing, orange buttercream, and topped with a Scooby Doo chocolate piece.
- The Mystery Machine ($2.59): an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and sprinkles with lime green icing and a Mystery Machine chocolate piece.
- Spooky Monster Cookies n’ Kreme ($2.59): a doughnut filled with cookies and creme filling and dipped in purple icing with Oreo pieces with a monster chocolate piece.
- Jinkies! Halloween Orange Sprinkle ($2.19): an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in orange icing and decorated with Halloween-themed sprinkles.

The Scooby-Doo Halloween Dozen included three Scooby Dooby Doo doughnuts, three Mystery Machine doughnuts, three Spooky Monster Cookies n’ Kreme doughnuts, and three Jinkies! Halloween Orange Sprinkle doughnuts for only $18.99 — 36.4% savings when compared to purchasing each doughnut separately.
Expect the price to be more in 2024, though… we saw a 21% price jump for the Halloween dozen from 2022 to 2023.
Wear a costume to get a free Krispy Kreme doughnut of your choice on Halloween.
They’ve made it a tradition for a few years now, so count on it: Any customer who comes into a Krispy Kreme store on Halloween can grab a free doughnut of their choice (up to $2.59 value) when they show up in a costume. And that’s not just for Original Glazed doughnuts — any single doughnut qualifies for the freebie, including the new Halloween-themed doughnuts.
This is one of the most consistent ways to get free food on Halloween.
Don’t forget the Halloween Minis — a box of 16 was $17.99 in 2023.
In 2023, Halloween Minis were $17.99 — which is $2 more than grabbing a 16-count box of the bigger Original Glazed doughnuts. The Halloween Minis include four Strawberry Iced minis with sprinkles, four Chocolate Iced Minis with sprinkles, four Chocolate Iced Minis, and four Original Glazed minis.
These items are also seeing prices climb from year to year; they were 9.4% more expensive in 2023 than they were in 2022.

In 2023, Krispy Kreme delivered their Halloween Scooby-Doo doughnuts to select grocery stores. Each location prices their doughnuts differently, but you can expect to pay around $10.98 for a half dozen (they’re not selling dozens). Here are the grocery stores where you could find these doughnuts:

And you thought the Day of the Dozens was a good deal. Friday the 13th turns out to be lucky for doughnut-loveres. Krispy Kreme offered a lucky deal for customers on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023. When you ordered any dozen doughnuts (reg. $14.99) at Krispy Kreme, you could have gotten an Original Glazed Dozen from Krispy Kreme for $0.13 — so basically free.
This deal was available both in-person when you mention the deal, and online through the Krispy Kreme website or app.
