What is the I Can Read! Book Club?

The I Can Read! Book Club is a subscription service designed to help children build reading skills by providing a curated collection of beginner-level books. It focuses on early literacy development for children ages 4 to 7, typically featuring books that align with various reading stages and levels.

Books in the I Can Read! series are designed to help young readers learn to read independently, offering simple vocabulary, engaging illustrations, and familiar characters. The books are categorized into different levels based on the child's reading abilities, ranging from very basic stories with a few words per page to more complex stories with longer sentences and more advanced vocabulary.

Bottom-line cost: $5, plus free shipping on your first five books.

When will I be charged? You'll be charged as soon as you complete your purchase.

When will I receive my order? Delivery will take about two to four weeks.

Will I need to cancel? If you don’t want to keep your subscription, you can cancel it after receiving your first delivery. If you don’t cancel, you’ll receive a new box every month (about every four weeks), including five new I Can Read! books for $25 per box. Shipping is free.

To cancel online, visit Highlights.com and click on the "Account" button in the upper right corner of the homepage. Sign in using your account number and billing zip code. After signing in, navigate to "My Subscription" or "My Gift Subscriptions" if the recipient is at a different address. Find the club you want to cancel, click the "Action" button next to it, and choose "Cancel." On the next screen, confirm your cancellation by clicking "Proceed."
