Once a year, Chick-Fil-A rolls out heart shaped trays for some of their most family-shareable menu items, giving us all an excuse to skip a night in the kitchen in early Feb. The heart-shaped chicken nugget trays became available on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, but we had to say goodbye again on Feb. 24, 2024. A huge benefit to these heart-shaped trays is that they don’t cost any extra. So the already affordable 30 count nugget (15% cheaper cost-per-nug compared to the 8 count), can be served in an optional heart tray. And by the way, there are all kinds of heart-shaped foods you can get around the Valentine’s Day holiday (including heart-shaped pizza). We expect a return of the full heart-shaped menu next year. Okay, now here’s the skinny on all you need to know about the seasonal Chick-fil-A heart-shaped trays.

Are the Chick-fil-A heart trays still available?

Unfortunately not! They were available through Feb. 24, 2024.

How many chicken nuggets come in a Chick-fil-A heart tray?

You get 30 chicken nuggets in the Chick-fil-A heart tray.

How much do Chick-fil-A heart trays cost?

Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets cost $17.69 in 2024 and the heart trays were the same price.

When do the Chick-fil-A heart trays come out?

They came out on Jan. 29, 2024!

Chick-fil-A heart trays were available for other food items, too.

When they first launched, the heart tray was only for chicken nuggets. Then came the Chick-n-Minis, cookies, and brownies. And in 2024, all four menu items in heart-shaped trays returned (prices varied by location):

Chick-fil-A Chicken Nuggets (30 ct), $17.69

Chick-n-Minis (10 ct), $12.35

Chocolate Fudge Brownie Halves (12 ct), $13.50

Chocolate Chunk Cookies (6 ct), $9.49

There’s no upcharge (or discount) for buying the heart trays, so you can feed the family for 15% less than individual orders.

Each of the four menu items included in the heart trays during Valentine’s Day cost the exact same as those items’ regular non-heart prices. Plus, you save money when you buy them in larger quantities.

  • A 30-count of Chick-fil-A Chicken Nuggets in a heart tray costs $0.61/nugget, while a 5-count and 8-count both costs $0.67/nugget.

  • Chick-n-Minis cost $2.06/mini for 10 in a heart tray, the same price per mini as a 4-count.

  • Six Chocolate Chunk Cookies in a heart tray cost $1.58/cookie, just under the individual price of $1.69/cookie.

  • Chocolate Fudge Brownies cost around $2.29 per piece, regardless of how many you order.

Tip: Order the 30-piece nugget tray and split it with your entire family. For a family of four, that's 7.5 nuggets each for $17.69. If you bought four 8-piece nuggets separately, you'd spend $20.76. The 30-piece tray saves you $3.07 or 15%.

Chick-fil-A heart trays were available through Friday, Feb. 24, 2024.

A little later than we initially predicted, the Chick-fil-A heart shaped trays hit stores on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024. Instead of a hard cutoff after Valentine’s Day, the heart-shaped trays were sold through Friday, Feb. 24.
