Chipotle has rallied fans during both the men’s and women’s World Cup group rounds by giving fans a chance to win a free entree of their choice when the USWNT or USMNT scored a tying, go-ahead, or lead-extending goal. That meant we were all in this together, because free food is glorious for everyone. While the final group round game for USWNT in Aug. 2023 didn’t result in any goals (therefore no free entrees up for grabs), it was still a fun promotion to participate in while cheering on USA.
The first time Chipotle Bowls for Goals was introduced was in Nov. 2022 for the FIFA Men’s World Cup. The same rules applied in a viewer’s effort to score free Chipotle.
Sadly we won’t get another FIFA World Cup until 2026, when the men’s teams play the competition across cities in three countries: the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. With that said, here’s what you can expect if this promotion returns.

In order to get your free entree, you need to send a secret code that appeared on the USWNT Twitter account to 888-222. They will likely share a promo code when the USWNT or USMNT score a tying (a goal that makes the score into a tie), a go-head goal (a goal that breaks a tie), and a lead-extending goal (a goal that pulls the team ahead).
Look for each code to give away 2,500 free entrees, so you'll have to keep your Twitter alerts open to receive a freebie. There's a limit of one free entree per participant.

Your chances for a freebie increase if you’re watching the game in real time.
While setting up Twitter alerts for the USWNT or USMNT Twitter account can get you a code, you’ll know exactly when you can expect a code drop if you watch the games in real time.
Again, this promotion is typically only for the Group Stage of the World Cup. If the US teams advance, there will be additional games, but (as far as we know) not an extended promotion.
