Do you need more Pioneer Woman dishes and vintage floral pieces in your life? I mean, obviously, you do.

The thing is, it’s a little spendy to get your hands on The Pioneer Woman merchandise. We’re going to show you when and where to shop for the best of The Pioneer Woman’s trademark style.

1. Skip the official store and shop The Pioneer Woman products at Walmart instead.

The Pioneer Woman products are the most expensive on her very own website. So unless you’re planning a trip to the actual Pioneer Woman Mercantile (please take me with you), don’t buy direct.

There’s not a lot of overlap in product styles between Walmart and the Merc, but let’s compare similar colanders. A 3-quart turquoise colander sold directly by TheMercantile.com is $28. Compare this with a larger (5-quart) The Pioneer Woman brand colander at Walmart for $22.97. Learn how to coupon at Walmart.

TIP: Make sure to use ship-to-store pickup to avoid any shipping charges at Walmart.

2. Don’t buy The Pioneer Woman dishes on Amazon. Stick with Walmart!

Not only are The Pioneer Woman dishes at Walmart cheaper than The Merc, but Walmart is cheaper than Amazon when it comes to The Pioneer Woman products too. Check it out:

The Pioneer Woman Vintage Speckle 10-Piece Cookware Set

Amazon: $105.50
Walmart: $87

The Pioneer Woman Willow 8-Piece Measuring Scoops and Spoons Set

Amazon: $25.88
Walmart: $17.98

The Pioneer Woman Vintage Floral Salt and Pepper and Butter Dish Set

Amazon: $20
Walmart: $13.94

The one exception to this is cookbooks. Almost every The Pioneer Woman cookbook is cheaper on Amazon than on Walmart. Sometimes by a couple dollars.

3. Aim to save at least 10% on Pioneer Woman sale items at Walmart.

The Pioneer Woman dishes come in regularly, and Walmart is always trying to make room for more. This means that it’s frequently on rollback or clearance.

We noticed that The Pioneer Woman sale markdowns on the shelf started around 10% off and went up from there.

As an example, a Pioneer Woman Dutch oven was originally $49.78, but I recently saw it at Walmart on sale for $44.47 — that’s a solid 10% off.

4. Go to Walmart the day after they start their monthly Pioneer Woman clearance.

Walmart typically has one day a month where they do all of their Pioneer Woman clearance markdowns, but there is no guarantee what time they’ll be finished. Check with your Walmart to find out when they do their clearance markdowns. Mine starts on the first day of the month, so I know to go in the first few days.

Her stuff sells out FAST when it’s marked down, so don’t wait to make a Walmart run. Worth it, though, because sometimes you can save up to 95%. Check out this example from 2022:

5. Or just check your UPC on Brickseek to avoid a recon trip to Walmart.

Brickseek lets you check any UPC code to see if that item is in stock in any particular store. This gets you the information on The Pioneer Woman slow cooker, for example, before you head out the door.

6. Compare prices at the store with Walmart.com to make sure you’re getting the best deal

Inside the Walmart app, tap the barcode icon and scan your Pioneer Woman dishes to double-check pricing. If it’s cheaper online, ask for a price match.

Honoring the online price is totally up to the manager on duty, so if they refuse, simply buy the item online and pick it up in the store to avoid any shipping costs.

7. Watch for sales on The Pioneer Woman cookware.

The Pioneer Woman cookware is already pretty dang affordable at Walmart. A 10-piece set is $87. But, sometimes it goes on sale. In 2022, a 30-piece set was just $69 (reg. $149).

8. The Pioneer Woman Instant Pots are $10 more.

I’m torn on recommending these as her signature style Instant Pots, breadmakers, slow cookers, and the like tend to be up to $10 more than the exact same thing without the Pioneer flare.

If you still want one after knowing that, and you’re buying from Walmart.com, make sure you move fast at whatever price you see. Especially when it comes to Instant Pots and breadmakers. (Or any new small appliances she introduces to the line.)

Or go in store. Inventory is much better at the brick-and-mortar.

You’re safer to wait for a sale price on slow cookers, toasters, blenders, etc, as online inventory is better for those.

Remember to use Brickseek to check inventory before you trek to the store.

9. The Pioneer Woman merchandise is all over the store.

This goes for clearance too, when Walmart offers Pioneer Woman markdowns.

The Pioneer Woman dishes and other products are all over the home section of the store. Sometimes on endcaps!

I even found some marked-down PW tablecloths in Electronics!

10. In addition to The Pioneer Woman dishes, look for deals on her clothing and bedding lines too.

The Pioneer Woman isn’t just for your kitchen. You’ll find deals on clothing, bedding, towels, and more for your home. Wait until you can get at least 30% off to buy.
