This year, the Labor Day Sale will likely start on Thursday, Aug. 22, and run through Monday, Sept. 2, 2024. Home Depot stores are open on Labor Day during normal business hours (6 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time). However, most deals are also available online and in the Home Depot app.

Home Depot hasn’t officially announced the next date for their Labor Day sale, but based on what they've done in recent years, we here at KCL predict that it’ll take place from Thursday, Aug. 22, through Monday, Sept. 2, 2024.
How do we make our prediction?
Since 2017, this sale has largely started on the Thursday before Labor Day weekend. So with that in mind, that would be Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024. Now, the exact length of the sale has varied over the years — and has often gone beyond Labor Day itself — but we’re predicting it to last through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2, 2024.

We’re hoping Home Depot brings back their 4 for $10 deal on 1-quart mums this Labor Day. In 2023, 1-quart mums were 40% off, which brought the price down to $2.50 apiece.
Patio Furniture: Up to 60% off
Look out for end-of-season deals on patio furniture during the Labor Day Sale in 2024. Select outdoor dining sets, conversation sets, umbrellas, and other patio items generally get discounts of up to 60% off.
Fire Pits: 50% off
Home Depot usually drops one major Labor Day deal on fire pits, giving you 50% off the regular price. Last year, their exclusive Hampton Bay Wood-Burning Fire Pit was just $49.97 (reg. $99.97).
