The Sam’s Club hot dog combo used to be the same price as the Costco hot dog combo: $1.50. Just like Costco, Sam’s Club hasn’t changed their hot dog prices since the 1980s, but starting on Nov. 16, 2022, Sam’s Club has dropped their hot dog combo to $1.38. While we’re used to costs going up on everything — like most of the Costco Food Court prices — even the 8% reduction feels like a win.
At both warehouse clubs’ food courts, the combos come with a quarter-pound hot dog with a drink. It’s easily one of the cheapest dining deals that you can get.

You don’t need a Sam’s Club membership to eat at the food court.
Unlike the Costco food court, you can eat at the Sam’s Club food court without having a membership. Same goes for their optical center and pharmacy. All of Costco’s departments are members-only (but you can get an eye exam at Costco Optical without being a member.)
You can even shop SamsClub.com without a membership (but you’ll have to pay a 10% upcharge on your purchases).

Sam’s Club lets you order ahead from the food court with Scan & Go.
As long as you have the Sam’s Club app (iOS / Android), you can unlock a pretty nifty feature that Costco doesn’t have — online ordering.
Skip the lines at the Sam’s Club Cafe and just place your food order right in the app. You can pay through the app, too, and your order will be ready for you to grab on the way out the door.
