McDonald's Crocs Happy Meal Dropped Sept. 17 (Get It Free With Rewards)!

They're here! McDonald's and Crocs have teamed up to introduce Crocs Clips as the next Happy Meal toy, and they dropped Sept. 17, 2024. They're a mini version of McDonald's Crocs and — as the name suggests — have a small clip to latch onto keychains or backpacks.

This isn't the first time we've seen a McDonald's x Crocs collab. In 2023, the duo created McDonald's themed Crocs, ranging from $85 to $90 a pair. Luckily, this collab is a bit cheaper — with the mini clips for free when you pay for a Happy Meal (prices vary by location, but I pay $3.63 in NJ). You can also score a free Happy Meal with McDonald's Rewards points, meaning you could get the new Crocs Clip completely free!

McDonald's and Crocs new Happy Meal toy launched Sept. 17, 2024.

You'll receive one of the new Crocs Clips with the purchase of a Happy Meal beginning Tuesday, Sept. 17 and we expect them to stick around until mid-October (when we'll likely see the return of the McDonald's Boo Buckets for Halloween).

The new Crocs Clips toys come in eight different styles.

You'll see eight styles of these Crocs Happy Meal keychains available. Each keychain comes in a small Crocs shoebox and a Jibbitz sticker sheet to personalize each of the Crocs Clips.

Here are all the color and style variations you'll see in this next release of Happy Meal toys:

1. Golden Arches & Happy Meal Smile in red

2. Golden Arches Crocs in white

3. Fries Crocs toy

4. McDonald’s Character Crocs in blue

5. McDonald’s Character Crocs in red

6. Scribbles Happy Meal Smile Crocs in red and white

If you've got McDonald's Rewards points saved up, you can get a Happy Meal (and Crocs Clips) for free.

With the McDonald’s Rewards program, you'll earn 100 points for every $1 spent. Once you earn 6,000 points (or $60 spent), you can exchange your points for a free Happy Meal (typically around $3 - $4).

The rewards points expire after six months, so if you've got some saved up, now's a good time to redeem them for one of the new Crocs toy that comes with a Happy Meal.

You can purchase McDonald’s Happy Meal toys for $1.59 – $1.69, separately from a meal.

McDonald’s Happy Meal toys come with the purchase of a Happy Meal (duh). But did you know you can get the toy without buying a Happy Meal? You can usually purchase the toys separately for $1.59 – $1.69 each, depending on your McDonald’s location.

If your store has them in stock, this is a great value. Essentially you can get at least three of the toys for the price of a Happy Meal, which generally costs between $4.60 and $7, depending on which Happy Meal you order and your location.

Prices vary by location, and sales are subject to availability.

Don't count on reselling these toys for a profit.

Right now, these toys are available in Thailand, and we're seeing them on eBay for around $50 for the entire set of 10. This works out to $5 per toy, which is not much more than the average Happy Meal costs in many locations. Until I see these start to sell out and blow up on social media, I have a hard time thinking they'll be worth much extra cash.
