To start your free trial, you'll need to select a subscription plan, but you won't be charged until after the 14-day trial ends. The best option to take advantage of this offer is the monthly plan, as you can cancel anytime. In contrast, with the 6-month plan, you’ll incur a $25 fee if you cancel before the end of the term.
If you decide not to continue your membership and want to avoid any charges after your free trial, you'll need to cancel at least two days before the trial ends.

How to get the deal:
Go to Ancestry.com to activate your free trial.
Sign up using your Google or Apple account, or choose to sign up with your email by providing your personal information and creating a password for your account.
Choose the monthly plan you’d like to try: U.S. Discovery, World Explorer, or the All Access plan.
You can cancel your subscription at any time, but you must do so at least two days before the end of the free trial period to incur no charge. If you don’t cancel by that time, your paid subscription will begin after the free trial ends.
If you choose to subscribe to their 6-month plan options, you’ll be charged a $25 fee if you cancel your subscription before the end of your term. If you’re unsure about keeping your subscription past the 14-day trial, I suggest selecting one of their monthly options. The cost is a bit higher per month, but you won’t be charged a cancellation fee.
