There are plenty of ways to get cheap alcohol (I mean alcohol for cheap). So if you’re ready to save on booze from now on, you’re in the right spot. Whether you’re planning on going to a liquor store, putting together an order for delivery, or signing up for a subscription service, let’s take a look at the ways you can wet your whistle without breaking the bank.

Don’t forget to download The Krazy Coupon Lady app for more news and deals.

1. Grab cheap alcohol with a Vons Club Card.

If you sign up for a Vons club card, you get access to a number of deals on cheap alcohol. Here are a few deals that I saw:

  • Jameson Whiskey Irish Original $41.99 (reg. $64.99)
  • Maker’s Mark $24.43 (reg. $34.99)
  • La Marca Italian Prosecco $12.21 (reg. $13.49)

Vons also offers exclusive digital coupons for some already-discounted items. All you need to do is load the deals onto your Vons account online or in the app before checkout. Here are some I’ve seen in the past:

  • $5 PayPal rebate on Michelob Ultra 24-pack
  • $2 off one bottle of Smirnoff
  • $8 PayPal rebate on a 30-pack of Coors Light with purchase of pizza

2. Get wine delivery without breaking the bank.

Heartwood & Oak are wine merchants that hand select premium bottles of wine from all over the world for members of their monthly wine subscription program. The wine delivery service offers a Wine Insiders Club, which runs an introductory offer.

When you join the Wine Insiders Club, you receive a 12-bottle collection of wines of your choice for $89, plus three extra bottles of 2018 Chateau Cazeau 1560 Bordeaux Rouge and free shipping. At under $6 a bottle, you’ll be able to replenish your wine without breaking the bank. Keep in mind, however, that after two weeks you’ll be up for another shipment of twelve bottles for $155 (plus tax) unless you cancel after your first order.

There are also plenty of other cheap wine options online:

  • Firstleaf offers a 6-bottle box for about $14.99 per bottle. There’s no commitment, and you can stop receiving shipments at any time.
  • Winc tailors a wine selection to your tastes. While the price is generally $59.95, you can get four bottles for $29.95. Winc also has a referral service, giving your friend or family member $30 off of their first shipment and a $30 credit for you.

3. Build your own 6-pack to save $3 on expensive craft brews.

A lot of grocery stores allow customers to create their own 6-packs — if you’re adventurous, why wouldn’t you?

On my last trip to Safeway, I saw that they were offering a $6.99 “Craft Your Own 6-Pack” deal. This lets you mix and match some of your favorite brews and even score some savings. For example, while a general 6-pack of Blue Moon costs $9.99 with a Club Card, you can save $3 by building your own Blue Moon 6-pack.

4. Buy cheap alcohol at Costco without a membership.

Due to alcohol laws, Costco can’t restrict the sale of wine and alcohol to just members. If you don’t have a membership, head over to member services and request a 1-day shopping pass good for only alcohol. In the wine and spirits section, you’ll find a plethora of booze that Costco purchases by the pallet instead of by the box, thus the discounted rate you’ll have a hard time finding anywhere else.

While I saw plenty of great savings on wine during my most recent trip, one of the best deals was the Windermere Pinot Noir marked down to $13.99 (regularly $19.99 a bottle). There was an instant rebate of $6.

5. Get a growler full of draft beer for the same price as a pint at the bar.

Many breweries are currently offering to-go growlers. Growlers are typically 64-ounce jugs used for stowing draft beer. You can purchase these jugs at breweries, restaurants, and even grocery stores for quick and cost-effective refills. Often, you’re able to sample a local brew for free if you “need help deciding what to spend your money on.” Then once you decide on your ale, head home and enjoy draft beer on your own time — without spending $6 per pint like you would at the bar.

6. Buy wine in bulk at grocery stores like Albertsons to save 10%.

At most grocery stores, including Albertsons, you can find discounts on wine when you buy a specified number of bottles. Look for a “Save 10% when you buy 6” deal.

Also watch for additional coupons attached, like a $5 digital rebate via PayPal. I found this one attached to Bread and Butter Chardonnay, bringing an $18.99 bottle of wine down to $14.46 per bottle after the 10% case discounts and the coupon.

7. Stack multiple rebate offers with sales at drugstores for cheap alcohol.

Walgreens, Rite Aid, and CVS frequently have sales on beer, wine, and alcohol (in the states where they sell alcohol). When you pair sales with rebates from apps like Ibotta, Checkout 51, and Fetch Rewards, you’re looking at some awesome savings. And I’m not talking about using just one rebate app on a single purchase … use the same receipt for as many offers as you can!

Here are some deals I’ve seen for cheap alcohol at Rite Aid:

  • Stella Rosa wine for $14.99 (plus $2 back on Ibotta)
  • Guinness beer for $11.99 per 6-pack (plus $2.50 back on Ibotta)
  • Sierra Nevada Little Thing IPA 6-pack for $12.49 (plus $4 back on Ibotta)

8. Make gallons of beer with a beer-brewing kit.

If you can make cupcakes, you can brew your own beer. A beer-brewing kit allows you to make your own beer by the gallon, which can be much easier on the wallet than a typical 6-pack in the long run. Because you can reuse your kit, it also works as a great investment.

Here are some great deals I found on beer-brewing kits:

Let’s compare this to a 6-pack of Odell Mountain Standard, which generally costs $11.99. Because two 6-packs roughly make up a gallon of beer, you’d be paying around $59.95 for the equivalent of the Mr. Beer kit (where you’re saving $20).

9. Trader Joe’s offers a number of cheap wine options.

While most people might think of “Two Buck Chuck” when Trader Joe’s cheap wine comes to mind, the rest of the store’s selections are also reasonably priced. The rest of their wine selection is easy on the wallet as well, with (non-Two Buck Chuck) bottles like Villa Sonia Pinot Grigio as low as $5.99. You may find beer options for great prices too, like Trader Jose Premium Lager for $7.49.

10. Get $5 off your first Drizly delivery.

If you’re trying out Drizly’s alcohol delivery service for the first time, use the promo code HELLO at checkout for $5 off. You need at least $20 worth of alcohol in your cart to get the deal.

11. Target sells plenty of cheap wine.

If you’re looking for some deals on cheap wine, you might want to give Target a look. While the store offers beer, seltzer, and hard liquor, they also have a number of wine offerings for around $5 a bottle. Here are some of the bottles you can pick up for five to six bucks apiece:

  • California Roots Red Blend 750 mL is $5
  • Barefoot Moscato Wine is $6.99
  • California Roots Sangria 750 mL is $5

12. Save $10 on beer and wine when you shop at Grocery Outlet.

If you’re looking to stock up on wine with your groceries, keep an eye out for cheap alcohol at Grocery Outlet. I even found some options marked down as much as $10. These are some prices I saw the last time I made a visit:

  • Zinfandel Lodi for $5.99 (reg. $15.99)
  • Terrasole Rubicon Sangiovese for $3.99 (reg. $7.99)

13. Get $0.05 bottles of wine through ClubBev (BevMo).

When you’re on the quest for cheap wine, consider doubling up when you shop at BevMo. When you buy eligible bottles of wine, you can get a second bottle for just $0.05. There’s a whole selection of $0.05 wines to add to your cart. Here are a few examples:

  • Athenaeum Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, regularly $49.95
  • Gruet Cuvee 89 Sparkling Brut, regularly $19.99
  • Lillie’s Sauvignon Blanc, regularly $23.95
  • Carneros Creek Reserve Chardonnay, regularly $29.95
