Through July 2, 2023, Walmart+ members could buy one ticket to Transformers: Rise of the Beasts from Cinemark and get a second ticket completely free. To get the deal, you’d need to log in to your Walmart+ account and copy and paste the unique promo code. As long as you bought your tickets before July 2 — and picked a showtime on or before July 5 — you’d save on a two-person screening of the new movie.

Movie ticket prices range from $9.50 – $12.75, depending on your showtime. But most tickets go for $10 apiece. So with this Walmart+ offer, you’d get two tickets for the price of one (so it’s like you’re paying $5 per ticket). A pretty nice surprise just ahead of Walmart+ Week, which arrives on July 10.

You had to redeem the Walmart+ offer and purchase your Transformers tickets on Cinemark.com before July 2, 2023. As long as you picked a showtime on or before July 5, 2023, you got the BOGO free ticket deal.

How to claim the BOGO free Transformers tickets (offer expired):

1. Visit your Walmart+ account (either online or in the Walmart app).
2. Under Limited-Time Offers, select “Get offer” next to BOGO to Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
3. Copy your promo code and select “Redeem offer” (you’ll be taken to Cinemark.com to purchase tickets).
4. Pick your showtime and seats, then enter your copied promo code at checkout to get your free ticket.

Heads up — you couldn’t claim this offer with a Walmart Plus free trial.

You had to be an active, paid Walmart+ member to take advantage of the BOGO free movie ticket deal. So you weren’t able to claim it if you were still within your 30-day free trial period.

However, if you signed into your Walmart+ account and scrolled to the Transformers offer, you’d see the option to override your free trial and start your paid membership. Once you did that, you’d be able to claim your BOGO free Transformers tickets right away.
