Although the cheap summer movie programs are finished for this year, we can anticipate a full lineup in 2026 that'll likely rival past events. Here's everything we expect at AMC Theatres, Regal Cinemas, Cinemark Theatres, plus others in 2026.

Cheap Movie Tickets in 2026

Regal Summer Movie Express $1 movies will likely start next June.

Your family can enjoy movies like Sing 2, Trolls Band Together, Kung Fu Panda 4, and Despicable Me 4 for $1 per person at Regal Cinemas every Tuesday and Wednesday (11 a.m.) next summer. If you join the free Regal Crown Club, you can save 50% on popcorn on Tuesdays. They also have a $5 Snack Pack that includes a snack-sized popcorn, junior-sized drink, and fruit snacks.

Look for $3 AMC Summer Movie Camp tickets all summer long.

For just $3, every Monday and Wednesday next summer, you can see popular movies such as The Bad Guys, The Wild Robot, Shrek, and The Secret Life of Pets with AMC Theatres Summer Movie Camp at participating theaters.

AMC offers Sensory Friendly Films for children on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, and on Wednesday evenings for mature audiences. Here is a full list of participating theaters. Showtimes vary by theater.

We anticipate cheap movie tickets for kids — only $1.75 a ticket at Cinemark Theatres in 2026.

We anticipate the Summer Movie Clubhouse at Cinemark Theatres will return next year from June - August for 10 weeks. Look for tickets to be $1.75, and get $1 off popcorn and drink combos and kids’ snack packs.

Harkins Theatres will have $1 movie tickets beginning next June.

For just $1 per movie, kids and adults can take in eight movies like Transformers One, The Garfield Movie, and Harold and the Purple Crayon for eight weeks during Harkins Theatres Summer Movie Fun program. These special showings from June through July are only available at 9:45 a.m.

Classic Cinemas has $2 summer movies for kids every Wednesday during the summer.

Doors open at 9 a.m. (entertainment and games) with showtime at 10 a.m., for the Wednesday Morning Movie Series at Classic Cinemas. For groups of 20 or more, reservations are available. However, they require a kiddie combo (popcorn, kiddie drink or juice, and a fruit snack for $8). Classic Cinemas also dedicates an auditorium to sensory-friendly films on Wednesday mornings.

How about a free summer movie for kids and a kiddie meal? Phoenix Theatres Entertainment will likely offer free summer movies at 10 a.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from June to August in 2026 at select theaters. Start and end dates vary between locations. All ages are welcome, and doors open at 9 a.m.

Buy cheap movie tickets for $3 at Marcus Theatres’ Kids Dream Summer Film Series in 2026.

Watch for Marcus Theatres bring back their $3 Kids Dream Summer Film Series next June (plus $3.50 popcorn and drink specials).

Megaplex Theatres will likely offer a cheap movie ticket pass for $25 next summer.

We expect Megaplex Theaters will offer their Megaplex Theatres’ Kids Summer Movie series next year. You must have an active MyMegaRewards account to participate in their summer movie program (it's free to join!).

The $25 movie pass works for kids and adults, and gives you access to 10 movies such as Abominable, The Croods, The Boss Baby, and Spirit Untamed for 10 weeks at 10 a.m. Plus, each pass holder can get $1 off one standard Kid's Combo (per movie). Additional tickets to individual movies will be available at an extra cost of $2.50 each.
