Amazon drivers are notoriously overworked, especially during the holiday season. Now you can ensure they get compensated a bit more for it. After a brief pause when this first rolled out on Dec. 7, Amazon brought back the program on Dec. 21 — giving everyone a chance to thank their drivers once again.

If you have an Amazon Alexa-enabled device, you can say, “Alexa, thank my driver.” When you do, your Amazon driver will receive $5 at no cost to you.

Amazon will cover the $5 driver bonus for the first 1 million “thank yous” received in the program. The driver with the most thank yous will receive $10,000 and an additional $10,000 to their charity of choice from Amazon. The feature is part of Amazon’s celebrations for their impending 15 million package delivery milestone.

“For drivers, it’s more than just the packages that they deliver — they form relationships with customers, provide support to the community in tough moments, and sometimes play the role of the unexpected hero,” Beryl Tomay, vice president of Last Mile Delivery at Amazon, said in a statement.
