The Kohl’s Friends and Family sale happens several times a year and lets you earn $10 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 you spend in a single transaction. There’s also a special promo code available during the sale that gives you at least 20% off your entire order; the December sale gives you 25% off. We're watching for the next Kohl's Friends & Family Sale.
The Kohl's Friends & Family Sale usually has a pattern. There's usually a spring sale, two summer sales, a fall sale, and a winter sale. So we expected the spring sale right around the time it happened in 2025: about two weeks before Easter. But the sale didn't kick off on March 18. We're watching for it and will let you know when it's here.

Use the sale's coupon for 25% off your entire order, minus brand exclusions.
The special promo code available during the Kohl’s Friends & Family Sale gives you a percentage off your entire order, including sale and clearance items. You can use the Kohl’s Friends and Family coupon code in-store and online. During past Friends & Family Sales, the discount has ranged from 20% - 25%. It's the December sale that usually gets you the full 25% off.

You’ll earn $10 Kohl’s Cash on top of the sale and extra savings.
Like most Kohl’s sales, the savings don’t end with the advertised percentage off. You’ll also rack up some Kohl’s Cash based on how much you spend.
During every Friends & Family Sale, you’ll earn $10 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 you spend in a single transaction, either online or in-store. The only catch is that you can’t spend your Kohl’s Cash until the current earning period ends and the next redemption period begins. But typically, you’ll only have to wait a few days, or at most a couple of weeks, to cash in on your earnings.
Use that Kohl's Cash to elevate your savings.
If you have Kohl's Cash in your back pocket during any sale, not just Friends & Family, it can easily be used as an extra savings boost. Remember, you only have 30 days to use your Kohl's Cash (during the dates specified on your Kohl's Cash reward), so there's no need to hoard the stuff.
For example, let's say you want a set of $11.99 The Big One Sheets during a sale, and you have $10 Kohl's Cash to spend. Use that to bring your total down to $1.99.
