But starting in 2024, the free Lowe's flower giveaway was only for MyLowe's Rewards members who reserved a plant for pickup before the 2-day event got underway.
While we don't have all the details about next year's event yet, we predict it will take place on May 1 - 2, 2026. Here's what you can expect for the Lowe's Mother's Day flowers in 2026 (now called the Lowe's Spring Flower Giveaway). Lowe's Spring Flower Giveaway is an annual 2-day event that gives MyLowe's Rewards members a free flowering plant.
Every spring, Lowe's gives away a free flowering plant to members of their MyLowe's Rewards program. In 2024, the freebie was a 1-pint flowering plant, but in 2025, it was a larger 1.5-pint flowering plant (worth at least $1, based on the price of 1-pint annuals during Lowe's SpringFest).
The annual event usually takes place over Mother's Day weekend, but this year, it's happening the weekend before Mother's Day.

Based on the last few years, we predict Lowe's annual flower giveaway will run from Friday, May 1 through Saturday, May 2, 2026. It will likely be an exclusive freebie for rewards members and require pre-registration before the event start date.
