Another Lowe's freebie for their rewards members is on the way — a new Lowe's Fall Flower Giveaway is coming Sept. 13 - 14, 2024, and getting your freebie is pretty simple. You'll just need to have a myLowe's Rewards account (it's free to sign up) and reserve your free fall-blooming flower in advance — like right now!

From what we can tell so far, the free flower will likely be a 1-pint yellow garden mum or pansy, which are regularly priced at $1.98 at Lowe's (when they're in season).

And if this fall's giveaway event is anything like Lowe's Mother's Day Flower Giveaway in the spring, the free flowers will likely run out quickly — so we recommend reserving your flower online ASAP. Here's what you need to know to claim your freebie. And be sure to share with a friend so they get one, too!

This first-ever Lowe's Fall Flower Giveaway is a two-day free plant giveaway for members of the free Lowe's reward program.

Completely new for 2024, Lowe's is giving away one free fall-blooming flowering plant to MyLowe's Rewards members in September. The event takes place two weekends after Labor Day, and pickup happens in Lowe's stores only.

We suspect the freebie will be a 1-pint yellow garden mum or pansy (regularly priced at $1.98), but this could vary depending on your location.

The Lowe's Fall Flower Giveaway will start on Sept. 13, 2024.

Lowe's Fall Flower Giveaway 2024

Even though the giveaway itself is scheduled for Sept. 13 - 14, 2024 (a Friday - Saturday), you'll need to reserve your free fall flower in advance in order to claim your freebie. The in-store pickup window on either day is 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. local time.

And you'll also need to be a member of their rewards program in order to reserve one. But the MyLowe's Rewards program does have a few other perks for members!

MyLowe's Rewards members must reserve a plant through the Lowe's app or website.

Lowes

Don't expect to just show up on the weekend of Sept. 13 - 14 to claim your free fall plant — you're going to need to reserve it ahead of time through your myLowe's account. Once your reserve yours, they'll send you a reminder email so you don't forget to head to the store on your scheduled pickup day.

Keep in mind that this freebie isn't available if you live in Alaska or Hawaii.

Here's how to reserve your free fall flower:

  1. Log in or sign up for a new rewards account on Lowes.com or in the Lowe's app (download for iOS / Android).

  2. Go to your Account details, then MyLowe's Rewards.

  3. Scroll down to find the Free Member Gift.

  4. Select "Reserve."

  5. Confirm your store, then select a pickup time (Sept. 13 or 14, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.).

  6. Select "Reserve" again.

On your scheduled pickup day, go to your local Lowe's store and grab your free flower. You'll just enter your MyLowe's Rewards member ID at checkout to make it 100% free!

KCL TIP: A few weeks after you sign up for a MyLowe's Rewards account, you'll also receive a coupon good for $5 off a $50 purchase (valid for 30 days).
