Kohl’s Black Friday deals bring savings of over 80% every year, thanks to all the extra discounts (coupons, bonus Kohl's Cash, and rebates). While the whole Black Friday sale runs a full week, some of the Kohl's deals are available on Thanksgiving and Black Friday only.
We expect the sale will be back Nov. 23 this year, with some early deals throughout November.

Here's when to shop: The Kohl's Black Friday sale always starts the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Deals drop online at 12:01 a.m. CT online and in stores during regular hours on that Sunday. Stores are closed Thanksgiving but always open super early on Black Friday at 5 a.m..

Look for rebate offers: Kohl's is one of the few retailers left that offer rebates. And during their Black Friday sale, these rebates can be stacked with other offers to get you 80% off or more. For example, in 2024 Kohl's offered a mail-in rebate on select $24.99 Toastmaster appliances that, when combined with a 15% off coupon and the Black Friday discount, got you a final price of $4.99. To get the rebate on a product with a rebate offer, you'll need to mail in the form that came with your in-store or online purchase.

Get bonus Kohl's Cash: During the Black Friday sale, Kohl's offers $15 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent (up from the usual $10 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent). You'll want to take that Kohl's Cash into account, because it often helps Kohl's deals beat other stores’ Black Friday sales. For example, last year, the Dyson V8 vacuum ($329.99 at other retailers) earned you $90 in Kohl's Cash, which brought the out-of-pocket cost at Kohl's down to $239.99. Tonies ($99.99 at other retailers on Black Friday) were just $69.99 for Kohl's shoppers who earned $30 in Kohl's Cash.

Don't forget to use your bonus Kohl's Cash: If you earn bonus Kohl's Cash during the Black Friday sale, remember that it can be redeemed only during a certain window (usually Cyber Monday through mid-December). So if you didn't find something on sale during Black Friday, you can use your Kohl's Cash to buy it later, but you do have to remember to use it.

Look for a 15% off promo code: When Kohl's drops its Black Friday ad, look for a special code that gets you an extra 15% off your purchase during the Black Friday sale.

Shopping Options: Kohl's Black Friday deals are all available online and in stores. Stores are closed on Thanksgiving, though, so you'll need to shop online. And to enter the sweepstakes, you'll need to shop in-store on Black Friday.

Doorbusters: Kohl's calls the deals that run Thursday and Friday only "doorbusters," although they're available both online and in stores. These deals drop online on 12:01 a.m. CT on Thanskgiving Day and when stores open on Black Friday (5 a.m. last year).

Store Policies: You can't price match at Kohl's during the Black Friday sale. The Kohl's price match policy states “purchases made during Thanksgiving week, purchases made during the week of Cyber Monday will not be adjusted during Thanksgiving week and during the week of Cyber Monday.”

Cyber Monday: In 2024, Kohl's started Cyber Monday deals during the weekend, on Saturday. The Kohl's Cyber Monday sale isn't generally better than Black Friday, but slightly different. Instead of a huge list of discounted products, expect promo codes for an additional 10% - 20% off, depending on the category. In 2024, on Monday, Kohl's offered an extra 20% off with a coupon code, plus an extra $10 off when you spent at least $50. So if you're after a specific product, look at Kohl's Black Friday. Then come back for Cyber Monday if you have any general gifting to do.
