The sale happens in stores and online, making it easy to save big whether you have Macy's coupons or not. We expected them to skip October, but return with a One Day Sale in November 2024.

Macy’s One Day Sale is an almost-monthly event with rotating discounts in store and online.
The Macy’s One Day Sale happens almost every month — April, June, and October are the exceptions. (And they tend to have two in December.) Usually, if Macy’s is having another big event — the Macy’s Friends & Family sale, for example — there won’t be a One Day Sale that month.
KCL predicts the next Macy's One Day Sale will start Nov. 5, 2024.
Macy's hasn't announced the dates for their next One Day Sale just yet, but we expect it to run Nov. 5 - 6, 2024. The retailer always skips the months of April, June, and October for this particular sale.
Use available Macy's Star Money during a One Day Sale to rack up even better savings.
Macy's Star Rewards, the retailer's loyalty program, gives members points on Macy's purchases that eventually accumulate to Macy's Star Money (1,000 points = $10 Star Money Reward). The starter tier (Bronze) earns 1 point per $1 spent (meaning you have to spend $1,000 at Macy's to get $10 in Star Money). However, look out for Star Money Bonus Days where you can receive $10 in Star Money on a $40 Macy's purchase. Star Money expires 30 days after it's issued.
