We expected one around this time, though, because there's no way Wayfair would sit out the spring sales bonanza that includes Amazon's Big Spring Sale and Target Circle Deal Days.

Wayfair's 72-Hour Clearout events include significant discounts on summer and outdoor furniture, home goods, and lawn and garden decor, among other product categories. While Wayfair advertises this sale as up to 60% off, we often find select items discounted by 70% or more. It's an ideal opportunity to refresh living spaces with furnishings at discounted prices.
The Wayfair 72-Hour Clearout sale is running March 28 - 30.
Wayfair ran this sale nearly every month in 2025, and threw a sale in early March in 2026. But with Amazon, Target, and more running major spring sales at the end of March, Wayfair is joining in. As usual, the sale kicked off on a Saturday and runs for three days.

Wayfair has a rewards program, but it's not free to join; it's $29 a year. The main draw is the 5% back that you get in rewards. You'll earn back the $29 fee through your rewards after you spend $580. So if you're making a big haul during the 72-Hour Clearout sale (and plan to shop Wayfair after that), it could be worth signing up. We suggest pricing out your cart first to see if you'll hit that $580 threshold.
The rewards program also gives you free shipping with no minimum. But Wayfair has free shipping on orders over $35 anyway.

If you fall in love with something on sale, you may be able to find an even cheaper price with Wayfair open box deals. Wayfair's open box items are items that have been returned but that have been verified to be "like new." To find them, just type "open box clearance" into Wayfair's search bar.
