Sam's Club Black Friday Deals Are Over — Here's What to Know For Next Year

Even though the Sam’s Club Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are over for 2023, we’re already looking forward to their 2024 Black Friday season. That’s because Sam’s Club Black Friday deals kick off as early as the first weekend of November with an online-only doorbuster sale.

To give you an idea of what to expect in 2024, we’ve assembled a list of all the best deals we saw during the Sam’s Club Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales in 2023, plus a few date predictions for next year.

Basically, there’s no shortage of Sam’s Club deals on your holiday shopping horizon. But with so many Black Friday sales and Cyber Monday deals happening all at once, you’re going to want to know how to cut through the clutter and find the best savings. The official Sam’s Club Black Friday deals usually start at 12:01 a.m. ET on Thanksgiving Day.

In 2023, the official Sam’s Club Black Friday deals started online at 12:01 a.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023, for all members. Deals lasted through Sunday, Nov. 26. Based on this pattern, expect the official Sam’s Club Black Friday deals to kick off on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, and last through Sunday, Dec. 1.

 

Is Sam’s Club open on Thanksgiving and Black Friday?

Since Sam’s Club warehouse stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day, the first day of the Black Friday sale is offered online only. If you’re a Sam’s Club Plus member, you get to shop two hours earlier than everyone else — starting at 10:01 p.m. ET the night before Thanksgiving.

Stores reopen for Black Friday shopping on Nov. 24 at the normal opening time (8 a.m. for Plus members and 10 a.m. for all other members). Keep in mind that some deals are offered for one day only for the first day of the sale (Thanksgiving Day).

 

Best Sam’s Club Black Friday deals we saw in 2023:

These deals were available from Nov. 23 – 26, 2023. Sam’s Club Plus members got to shop two hours earlier than everyone else, starting at 10:01 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023.

The 2023 Sam’s Club Black Friday ad arrived on Nov. 16, so expect a similar rollout in 2024.

We got a physical copy of their “Thanks-Savings” Black Friday ad for 2023 in our mailbox on Nov. 16, about two weeks after their early November Doorbuster deals. Based on this rollout date, we expect to see the 2024 Sam’s Club Black Friday ad arrive around Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024.

Sam’s Club Cyber Monday deals kick off the day after the Black Friday deals end.

Right after the Sam’s Club Black Friday deals are done, they kick off their Cyber Monday online-only savings. These deals are typically available from Cyber Monday until the next day (Tuesday) at midnight CT. Everything is available while supplies last, and the gift cards typically sell out quickly — within the first day.

 

Best Sam’s Club Cyber Monday Deals from 2023:

Some of the Sam’s Club Cyber Monday deals we saw in 2023 were even better than Black Friday — specifically for toys and gift cards. For example, we saw savings of up to 30% off select gift cards instead of 20% off during Black Friday. If you purchase an eGift card from Sam’s Club, you receive it immediately via email delivery.

 

Early Black Friday deals are available online for one weekend in early November for a Doorbusters event.

Not to be confused with their November Instant Savings event that takes place both online and in-store, a special November Doorbusters Event happened online only from Nov. 3 – 5, 2023. Some of the biggest savings were on a Disney ride-on toy (38% off) and an iRobot Roomba robot vacuum (46% off).

Next year, we expect to see a November Doorbusters event — with early Black Friday deals — around Nov. 1 – 3, 2024.

 

Best Sam’s Club November Doorbuster deals from Nov. 3 – 5, 2023:

TIP: The Sam’s Club return policy won’t allow returns for gift cards, but you can return almost anything else, anytime.

 

Get free curbside pickup on Black Friday orders if you’re a Plus member.

Take advantage of curbside pickup at Sam’s Club if you want to avoid going into the warehouse. It’s free for Plus members and $4 per order for basic Sam’s Club members.

Pickup for Plus members begins at 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday. The pickup window begins at 10 a.m. for Club members.

If you’re planning to shop at Sam’s Club in person, make sure you download and get familiar with the Sam’s Club Scan & Go app. With the app, you’ll be able to shop without waiting in a checkout line! You’ll scan all your items as you shop, and then check out and pay through the app.

 

They usually have a deal on new Sam’s Club memberships during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Both the Club level and Plus level Sam’s Club memberships go on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, giving you a good excuse to join as a new member for much less than the usual price.

In 2023, we saw the Sam’s Club 1-Year Basic membership on sale for $20 (reg. $50), which was 60% off. The Sam’s Club 1-Year Plus membership was on sale for $60 (reg. $110), which was 45% off.

These offers were for new membership signups only, and you were able to start shopping online right away with a digital membership card.
