The semi-annual Walmart Baby Event officially returned on Sept. 1, 2025, with a fresh set of baby deals, and we fully expect to see new deals drop weekly throughout the month. If you’re looking for savings on baby clothing, strollers, bouncers, and more, this is a must-shop event before the holiday season kicks into full gear.
Walmart runs this sale twice a year — first in February (lasting through the end of March), and again in September (for about four weeks). The nice thing about the September sale is that it kicks off around the same time as the Target Baby Sale, so there's no shortage of baby deals up for grabs.
Since new Walmart deals drop regularly throughout the sale, it's worth checking back often to scope out fresh savings.

Best Walmart Baby Event Deals We're Shopping Now
Walmart Baby Event is a twice-a-year, multiweek sale with deals on all sorts of baby gear.
Every February and September, Walmart runs a 4- to 6-week sale with discounts of 40% or more on baby gear, including strollers, car seats, nursery furniture, activity centers, baby monitors, and clothing. You’ll see markdowns on name brands like Graco, Owlet, Gerber, Evenflo, and Carter’s.
The fall Walmart Baby Event is happening Sept. 1 - 30, 2025.

Walmart didn't announce the dates for their Baby Event sale ahead of time, but based on the Walmart Sales Schedule from recent years, we predicted it would run Sept. 1 - 30, 2025. And we were right. The current sale is happening Sept. 1 - 30.
You’ll also get another shot at this sale next winter, since Walmart typically brings back the Baby Event in February too.
How to Shop the Walmart Baby Event 2025
Look for baby deals both online and in-store.
It's worth shopping for Walmart baby deals online and in-store, especially since you have a full four weeks to score savings.
I'll shop online over taking a trip to the store any day, so I've mostly stuck to Walmart.com during their Baby Event. In my experience, there's a bigger selection of on-sale items, and you can easily narrow your search with filters.
But that doesn't mean you should ignore the deals in-store. Walmart store prices and Walmart.com prices aren't always equal, and heading to your local Walmart can pay off big during the Baby Event sale.
Check for new deals weekly during the sale.
Walmart drops new discounts every week during their Baby Event. So the deals you see at the start of the sale won't stick around for the full four weeks.
That's why it's important to check back for new baby deals every week. Walmart may focus on baby clothing deals one week, but have better deals on strollers and car seats the next week.
Aim to save 40% on Walmart baby clothing.
During the Baby Event, Walmart drops prices on baby clothing from top brands like Carter's, Monica + Andy, easy-peasy, and Honest. And you can bank on savings of up to 40% on onesies, dresses, sleep & plays, and more.
For example, during the last sale, you could buy a 5-pack of Little Star baby bodysuits for $8.67 (regularly $15.94). That brought the price of each onesie down to just $1.73.
Winter Walmart Baby Event vs. Amazon Baby Sale
Both Walmart and Amazon run baby sales with deep discounts on essentials like strollers, car seats, and baby monitors, but they work a little differently.
Walmart’s Baby Event features Rollbacks and in-store clearance, often leading to deeper discounts on overstocked items. New deals drop weekly, with discounts typically hitting 40% or more on brands like Graco, Evenflo, and Carter’s.
Amazon, on the other hand, runs their Baby Sale all February with rotating Lightning Deals and coupons that can sometimes beat Walmart’s prices. Prime members often get exclusive discounts, making some deals even better.
If you prefer consistent sale prices, the Walmart Baby Event is the way to go. But if you're willing to track Lightning Deals, Amazon might offer bigger savings on select items. Checking both is the best way to maximize your baby budget.
