IHOP offers their National Pancake Day promotion as part of their IHOP Month of Giving in partnership with Feeding America. Guests are invited to add $1, $2, or $3 or more onto their checks in the restaurant or when ordering online. According to the IHOP press release, for every $1 donated to the campaign during the entire month of February, 10 meals will be provided to people facing hunger through local partner food banks.
(In New York and New Jersey, diners will need to donate $1 to get their free short stack.) The IHOP franchisees in the New York and New Jersey areas are particularly passionate about this cause, and the $1 donation supports their goal to better serve their local communities.
