On 12/31, the Plenti Points program is ending at Rite Aid, meaning you’ll no longer be able to earn Plenti Points at Rite Aid, and a new rewards system will take its place. The current rewards program will be replaced by the new Wellness+ Bonus Cash system. Here’s what you need to know:

1. You can still use your unused Plenti Points.

Rite Aid shoppers who have already earned Plenti Points will still be able to redeem them until they expire, but Rite Aid will stop offering new Plenti Points rewards with the new year.

2. The Wellness+ Bonus Cash system will take the place of Plenti Points.

The Wellness+ Bonus Cash system is very similar to that of Plenti Points. Wellness+ cardholders can earn Bonus Cash by purchasing a certain quantity of an item, or by spending a threshold dollar amount on qualifying items.

3. Bonus Cash will expire faster.

Similar to the Plenti Points program, Bonus Cash will automatically be credited to your account by 6:00 a.m. on the day following the earning transaction. The difference is that Bonus Cash will expire 60 days after issuance, rather than two years with the Plenti Points program.
