The toy deals we saw during Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2023 were hot hot hot. In fact, we saw savings of up to 50% on Black Friday at various stores. So we’re sure to see some pretty good savings in 2024.
LEGO toys can run anywhere from $4.99 for smaller sets to literally hundreds of dollars for the really complex offerings. For example, their Star Wars Millennium Falcon is a whopping $849.99 at LEGO.com.
So yes, LEGO can be expensive. But if you know where to shop, you can find 20% off, 30% off, and sometimes more, especially on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Below, I’ll share my favorite deals happening now, plus shopping tips to score a crazy LEGO Cyber Monday deal in 2024.

The best places to find Black Friday and Cyber Monday LEGO deals are Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.
In previous years, we saw consistent price drops of 20 – 33% on Amazon. Walmart offered similar deals, dropping anywhere from 10 – 50% or in pricing terms, anywhere from $4 – $30. Target and Best Buy also offered deals. However, theirs were closer to 10 – 15% off and on average $10 off. And, Barnes and Noble recently began selling the sets as well.
You could also hit up Costco, where they sell discounted Lego all the time. For example, in late October 2023, you could save 25% on select Lego Star Wars kits.
LEGO Black Friday sales officially went live on Nov. 24, 2023, but you could find non-Black Friday discounts even earlier.
LEGO usually starts its Black Friday sale officially on Black Friday, which will run on Nov. 29 in 2024. But you can expect a few deals to arrive earlier, as we’ve seen in previous years.
If you’re a member of their VIP program (this program is free for all website users), they may offer some of their Black Friday sales early. Part of this VIP program means you get sales all year long.
You can also check other retailers now, like Costco, Target, Walmart, and Amazon, all of which had discounts in 2023.

You can find LEGO sets for as low as $15 on Black Friday.
For smaller and medium kits for kids and teens, you shouldn’t spend more than $30 on a LEGO set on Black Friday. Bigger sets with 1,000 pieces or more or have a strong licensing presence (like Star Wars) will still be discounted at up to about 30% off. They’ll be pricier, but you typically shouldn’t have to pay any more than $70 for one of these sets.
Here are the best prices we found on various LEGO kits on Black Friday 2023:
Kohl’s
Kohl’s LEGOs saw discounts between 20% and 30%. While the selection was a bit more limited than other retailers, shoppers could still find Marvel sets.
Target
Star Wars fans found the best selection of Star Wars LEGO sets at Target in 2023. And the discounts were pretty significant too. In fact, shoppers saved an average of 43% this past Black Friday. That’s a way bigger discount than in 2022 when shoppers saved only 20% by comparison.
The 2023 Cyber Monday deals were a bit lackluster compared to Black Friday. Sets that had been discounted by 43% in Black Friday were only 10% off on Cyber Monday.
Walmart
This year LEGOs are discounted by as much as 56%, including advent calendars and Marvel sets. This brought the price down to just $20 (reg. $44.49). The best deals began during Black Friday, but some are still available now.
This is a big improvement from 2022. We saw popular sets, including the Star Wars advent calendar, on sale for 20% off. Select kits were even discounted by as much as 33%.
Amazon
This year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday were good, but not as good as Walmart’s. The sales started in Late November and have so far carried on through Cyber Monday. We’re seeing up to 45% off popular sets including Disney100, Marvel, and Harry Potter.
By comparison, in 2022, Amazon had both the best deals and the biggest selection when it came to Black Friday LEGO sales. Shoppers saved up to 48% on Super Mario building kits and up to 32% on Minecraft sets. Star Wars and Marvel building sets were discounted between 20% and 30% on average.
Which are the most popular LEGO sets?
LEGO offers tons of variety among its sets and collections, not to mention other branded merch. From storage bricks to throw blankets to Lego costumes for cosplay.
There are plenty of popular sets on the LEGO website and at other retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Amazon. These sets go anywhere from collectibles such as Harry Potter, Minecraft, or Star Wars to starter sets like children’s Duplo LEGOs. LEGO even offers motorized sets like their exclusive Motorized Lighthouse ($299.99, LEGO.com). They also sell envied sets like the Loop Coaster ($399, LEGO.com), which, as the name suggests, is an impressive roller coaster. Keep in mind, that the lighthouse and coaster are exclusive to LEGO.com, so those will be hard to come by at other retailers.

Is there any way to score even better deals?
On the LEGO website, you’ll likely be able to use the points earned from the VIP program. During the start of the Black Friday Sales Event on LEGO.com, VIP users were able to earn double the amount of points as they usually would.
If you’re buying LEGOs during Target Black Friday, you can use your Target RedCard for an extra 5% savings.
Does LEGOLAND have a Black Friday sale?
LEGOLAND is a brick lover’s paradise. LEGOLAND parks have themed rides featuring their beloved characters and often separate waterparks, too. LEGOLAND Florida offered a Black Friday deal in 2022 for Silver Annual Pass for $139.99, which is a $60 drop from the original price. They also offered 50% off sales on vacation passes and tickets. The vacation pass offered deals like 50% off of a 2-day stay in a fully themed LEGO room. Check back for the newest updates for Black Friday 2023.
