And now we can officially confirm they're doing a second round of SpringFest deals from April 3 - 16, 2025. They usually break the event up into two waves, with different deals dropping halfway through the sale.
The $2 bags of mulch are one of the best Lowe's deals we see during SpringFest — and they're back again during the second wave of the sale. But the deals on annuals, perennials, and soil are also noteworthy. You’ll even find discounts beyond the Garden Center, like up to 40% off select patio furniture and deals on top tools.

Best Lowe's SpringFest Deals April 3 - 16
Lowe's SpringFest is an annual 4-week garden sale that famously includes $2 bags of mulch.
We consider Lowe's SpringFest a sort of Spring Black Friday, with deals on everything you need to get your garden ready for the season. Get $2 bags of mulch, plus best-of-the-year discounts on plants, paint, and pavers. It typically runs right alongside the Home Depot Spring Sale in April, but in 2025, Lowe's launched their sale a full two weeks earlier than usual.

This year's SpringFest sale kicked off on Thursday, March 20, 2025, with the first set of deals valid through April 2. And just as we expected, a second wave of deals started on April 3 and will last until April 16.
Submit a rebate to claim a Buy Two, Get One Free paint deal.
Lowe's typically drops a rebate deal on HGTV Home by Sherwin Williams paint for SpringFest. But during the 2025 sale, the offer includes all 1-gallon and 5-gallon paints, including the Valspar and HGTV brands. If you buy two gallons of paint and submit for the rebate, you’ll get a Lowe’s gift card covering the cost of the third.
The paint rebate also applies to select Cabot stains. We see this offer pop up during multiple Lowe's sales throughout the year, and it’s always a sweet deal.
Sign up for a MyLowe's Rewards membership to claim exclusive Doorbuster deals.
Lowe's has been emphasizing their MyLowe's Rewards loyalty program more and more ever since it launched in January 2024. With the SpringFest sale, they have a handful of Doorbuster deals that are only available to rewards members. You can sign up for a MyLowe's Rewards membership online.
During the first round of deals, the list of member-exclusive deals included a Char-Broil 4-burner gas grill for $199 (regularly $249, 20% off), and a 4-piece patio furniture set for $298 (regularly $498, 40% off). And from April 3 - 7, members get access to deals like Bonnie herb plants for $3.33 (regularly $5.98, 44% off), a picnic table for $89 (regularly $139, 36% off), rocking chairs for $89 (regularly $129, 31% off), and more.

Remember that some Garden Center deals are only available regionally.
If you live in a cooler climate, you'll likely see a different mix of deals available at the Garden Center during Lowe's SpringFest. For example, I live in the South and saw the $2 mulch deal in my weekly ad as early as March 20, while my colleagues in the Midwest didn't.
Your region will also determine which annuals and perennials will be in stock during the SpringFest sale.
Ways to Hack Lowe's SpringFest Sale
Shop for mulch at Lowe's instead of Home Depot to save $0.33 per cubic foot.
Lowe's spring sale notoriously has the best mulch deals you'll find all year. And their popular five for $10 deal on 2-cubic-foot bags of Premium Wood Mulch is back again in 2025. That's a $1 cost per cubic foot, which is tough to beat when considering all the best mulch sales we track during the year.
For example, Home Depot's Spring Black Friday Sale typically offers the same five for $10 deal, but it's for 1.5-cubic foot bags of mulch. That gives you a $1.33 cost per cubic foot. So you'll save $16.50 on 50 bags of mulch if you shop at Lowe's instead.
KCL TIP: Always calculate the cost per cubic foot when comparing mulch prices (the price of the bag divided by its size in cubic feet). Different brands come in different sizes, and this calculation will help you compare costs across brands.
