Harris Teeter’s ExpressLane delivery service makes shopping at your favorite local grocery store that much easier, plus it can save you time and money in the long run. I’ve covered everything you need to know below about ExpressLane.
Harris Teeter delivery is only available at select stores.
Harris Teeter’s ExpressLane delivery service isn’t available at every location. To see if a store near you offers delivery, enter your city or zip code in the Harris Teeter store locator, then click “Details” under each store and look for the ExpressLane shopping cart logo. If you see it, your store offers delivery and curbside pickup.
Harris Teeter delivery costs up to $17 per order.
You have to order at least $25 worth of groceries to get delivery. For each order, you’ll pay a $4.95 service fee in addition to a $9.95 delivery fee if your order totals $50 or more, or a $11.95 delivery fee if your order is under $50.
However, if you’re an ExpressLane Monthly Subscriber ($16.95/month) or Yearly Subscriber ($99.95/year), the $4.95 service fee (or “picking fee”) will be waived for every order.
You can only select Harris Teeter delivery at checkout on the app or online.
You won’t see delivery options anywhere on the Harris Teeter app or site until you proceed to checkout. Once there, you can choose curbside pickup or delivery.
Harris Teeter delivery offers same-day delivery if you order by 7 a.m.
Not an early bird? No problem. You can order up to six days in advance.
You can choose to allow substitutions (or not).
If you do, a personal shopper will call you to confirm substituted items.
You can also include prescriptions with your ExpressLane order.
At order checkout, you’ll have the option to include prescriptions with your curbside pickup order. To do so, you need to submit your prescription request to the pharmacy ahead of time, and you must schedule your curbside pickup time slot during pharmacy hours, which are:
- Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Harris Teeter will place a “Temporary Hold” fee on your total to account for possible changes to your order.
You’ll see the additional hold fee on your order summary before you checkout, and it varies based on your order total. It breaks down like this:
You’ll be charged the actual amount of your order once the order is completed.
ExpressLane promos and coupons are for e-VIC rewards members only.
If you’re an e-VIC member with a valid VIC card, you can clip digital coupons available on the site or app. They will apply to order at checkout, but you won’t see the discount total until you receive your physical printed receipt.
