You caved and bought that sweater despite its price tag because you love it.

But the very next day, it went on sale. So frustrating! I totally get it.

When this happens, just ask for a price adjustment from the store. You’ll get a credit for the difference between what you paid and the new sale price.

TIP: You don’t need to keep track of whether or not your purchases go on sale. There’s an app that does it for you! Meet Paribus: an app that keeps track of all your online purchases through your email receipts. If the price drops on any item you buy, Paribus requests the refund for you! 1. Abercrombie & Fitch

Fine print: Available for fully priced in-store or online items.

Instructions: For online orders, contact customer service at abercrombie@abercrombie.com or call 1-866-681-3115 or 1-925-359-2304. Remember to have your order number ready. For in-store purchases, return to the store with your original receipt within 14 days.

 

2. Ann Taylor

Fine print: Doesn’t include sale items. This policy applies to Ann Taylor Loft stores as well.

Instructions: Ann Taylor stores are unable to process price adjustments from online orders. Call 1-800-342-5266, email clientservices@anntaylor.com, or use live chat on the Ann Taylor website.

 

3. Anthropologie

Instructions: Call 1-800-309-2500 or email service@anthropologie.com for online orders. For in-store purchases, head to your nearest store location with your original receipt.

 

4. Athleta

Fine print: They will price match in-store prices with online prices and online with in-store.
