Remember when Sony gave away two free games to all PlayStation 4 owners? People freaked out about that!

And now, Amazon is offering their own freebies for gamers via their Prime Gaming platform (formerly known as Twitch Prime).

We’re playing a lot more video games these days, so you’ll want to hear about this.

You’ll need a Prime subscription, Twitch account, and a PC to play the free games.

If you don’t already have Amazon Prime, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial (and keep the games you download afterward!).

Then, sign up for gaming video platform Twitch if you haven’t already, and then link the accounts on the Prime Gaming page.

From there, you can browse the freebies, which you can download via either the Amazon Games app or the Twitch Desktop app. (Sorry, PCs only.)

Note: After the trial, Prime memberships cost $12.99/month or $119/year.

In addition to games, Prime members get free skins, weapons & other in-game goodies.

Even if you don’t have a PC, you can still get in on the freebies action at Prime Gaming.

From in-game currency to weapons, to skins and more, your favorite iOS or Android game can get seriously upgraded with a number of freebies, updated regularly.

You just find the game on Prime Gaming, visit the game’s freebies page (like this one for Last Day on Earth), visit the special website on your device, and get the goodies.

Gamers can download nearly $100 worth of free games in September.

Here are the five free games Prime Gaming is giving away this month:

  1. Autonauts: Age of Enlightenment, civilization simulation game (reg. $20)
  2. Effie, 3D fantasy game (reg. $20)
  3. Outcast: Second Contact, action-adventure game (reg. $35)
  4. Pumped BMX Pro, bike sports game (reg. $15)
  5. Tiny Troopers: Joint Ops, warfare game (reg. $8)

BONUS: In addition, you can watch top streamers tell you how to play these games; Prime Gaming comes with a free channel subscription on Twitch.

Through March 31, 2021, Prime Gaming is offering 22 free SNK games.

Prime gamers can also get nearly two-dozen classic titles from Japanese video game maker SNK, including Art of Fighting 2, Blazing Star, Fatal Fury, The King of Fighters, Pulstar, and Samurai Shodown II.

Even if you cancel the service, you can keep the games.

Get more than $100 worth of games during a 30-day free trial? Not too shabby.
