What You Need to Know About the Fry’s Rewards Program

Fry's Food Stores is another one of those supermarkets that has everything I’m looking for in one stop—whether I need to buy concert tickets, fill a prescription, buy a new television, stock up on groceries or develop film, Fry’s seems to have it all. Signing up for a Fry's V.I.P. Card ensures that you receive the best prices—plus you'll earn awesome rewards (like access to double coupon promotions, which is my personal favorite perk) just for shopping!

How to sign up

Register for a V.I.P. Card at the Customer Service desk at your local Fry's store. Although you can't register online at this time, you can link your V.I.P. Card (if you already have one) to your online account to access exclusive offers like coupons and special promotions.

How to earn rewards

Swipe your V.I.P. Card at checkout to receive sales prices or a senior discount (assuming this is applicable to you, of course). Your V.I.P. Card is also needed to take advantage of the double coupon promotions that Fry's offers once in a while! You can also use your V.I.P. Card to earn fuel points. I find that this reward saves my family tons of money when we fuel our cars each month. For every $1 that you spend on groceries, you'll earn 1 fuel point. If you buy a gift card, you'll earn double fuel points based on the value of the gift card. For example, I plan on buying a $25 gift card to Home Depot for my dad for Father’s Day, which will get me 50 fuel points. But that's not all! You also earn points for filling prescriptions at Fry's! One prescription equals 50 fuel points!

How to keep track of your rewards

Your fuel point balance will print out on the bottom of your receipt every time you shop at Fry's, but you can also check your balance online or by using their mobile app.

Using your rewards

Just scan your V.I.P. Card at the gas pump. For every 100 points you earn, you'll earn 10¢ off per gallon at a participating Fry's, Circle K or Shell gas station. The maximum amount of points that you can use for one fill-up is 1,000, which is equal to $1 off per gallon. My favorite part is that I can choose to use all of my rewards at once or enter a specific amount that I want to use.

Other ways to save with your reward card

Fry's is currently offering a special promotion where you'll get double the fuel points when you shop on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays up until July 27th!

If you have a 1-2-3 REWARDS Visa Card you’ll save an additional 25¢ per gallon at the pump for the first three months. But don't worry–after three months you'll still save an additional 5¢ per gallon when you redeem at least 100 points and pay with your 1-2-3 REWARDS Visa Card.
