I have an almost fully potty-trained child (my first one!) and with some trial and error, I’ve found out what works for us. I’ve also found out what doesn’t work for us. Trying to go full throttle with my daughter and switch completely to undies from diapers gave her some anxiety. To the point that she was running to the bathroom every two minutes afraid she’d have an accident.
So we decided to take a more eased-in approach. We started using Pull-Ups Plus for days she felt a little anxious. And to ease my own worry about her keeping clean without my help, we tried Cottonelle Flushable Wipes. So far, this combo has helped in controlling both parent and child potty training anxiety and now (hallelujah!) we’re almost there. But no matter where you are in the potty training and parenting phase, we’ve got you covered.

Pull-Ups Plus are perfect for the transition from diapers to underwear.
We learned pretty quickly that using Pull-Ups took the stress out of potty training for our daughter. And Pull-Ups Plus are the best of both worlds. They function like big girl undies, but they’re absorbent for those inevitable accidents. She still used the toilet whenever she had to go, but she didn’t worry all day because she had a Pull-Up on just in case.
Right now, you can save $9 on Pull-Ups Plus Training Pants and $3.50 on Cottonelle Flushable Wipes at Costco until July 23. Both of these products can be purchased at Costco stores, or you can purchase them online and have them shipped directly to your doorstep (my personal fave, because we all know the struggle of balancing the kiddos in the car with multiple boxes — no thank you!).
We still use Pull-Ups every night.
At this point, my daughter has been using the toilet for about a year, but we still use Pull-Ups every night. Pull-Ups Plus come in sizes 2T through 5T so if your little one isn’t quite ready to make it through the night without an accident, they’ve got you covered. They stay in place all night and we have not had any leaks, even when she has water before bedtime. I’m looking forward to the day we don’t need Pull-Ups anymore, but for now, they’re exactly what we need.

I will NEVER give up my Cottonelle Flushable Wipes.
Moms know that baby wipes are the best invention ever. Dropped their mac and cheese? Wipe. Sneezed all over their own face? Wipe. I think I’ll still carry them in my purse when my girls go off to college. For any of my fellow potty-training parents out there finding little scraps of TP where the sun don’t shine (IYKYK) then the Cottonelle Flushable Wipes are for you. I feel more comfortable with my daughter using a wipe to clean up after the potty than wondering if she did a good enough job with toilet paper alone.
So there you have it! My potty training adventure so far. We’ve succeeded by taking it easy on my daughter and slowly transitioning to using Pull-Ups Plus and Cottonelle Flushable Wipes. To everyone else going through this, I’m sending you accident-free, low-stress vibes.
