In the competitive world of online shopping there is a new kid on the block that aims to revamp the way you and I shop online. It's big, it's smart, and it's got everything you need with unbeatable savings. Meet!

So what is Jet?

Jet is an ecommerce website that sells just about everything; electronics, health and beauty supplies, toys for the kids, groceries, office and pet products, and literally millions of other everyday items. What makes them different from other Internet retailers and big-box stores is the way they pass savings on to their customers.

1. Get free two-day shipping on everyday essentials—without the yearly $99 membership fee.

If you’re like me, you hate shelling out a yearly $99 fee for a membership to get free two-day shipping. Unlike many other online shopping options, joining Jet is free, quick, and easy. And as long as your order is more than 35 bucks, shipping is free with Jet. If there’s ever a problem with your order, the extremely helpful 'JetHeads' are available to help 24/7 (I had a question while writing this article and sent them a Facebook message; they responded in less than two minutes).

2. Get low prices and quick delivery on pretty much anything.

Since Jet only keeps everyday essentials (laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc.) in its warehouses, they can ship these items as promised in two business days, packaged in a pretty purple box. For other items (a new piano, golf clubs, you name it), Jet partners with trusted retailers worldwide who can fulfill your order at the absolute lowest cost, and it will still be delivered within 2-5 business days.

3. Waive the “free return fee” on items you know you’ll keep and save 2% instantly.

At Jet, returns are free within 30 days of your purchase. However, we all know free returns are not actually free—they still cost companies money. With Jet, you can select the ‘waive free return’ option on items you know you’ll keep and instantly save 2%. For example, I don’t think I would ever return paper towels—it’s simply not worth it—so I’ll let Jet know at checkout and stack an extra 2% discount on top of already low prices.

Note: You can mix and match on your order by waiving return fees on certain items you’re sure you’re going to keep, but keep free returns on others.

4. Use debit—not credit—to pay and get 1.5% off your order.

When shopping on Jet, don't just whip out the ol' charge card for your purchases. Jet passes on the savings it gets from not having to pay credit card processing fees to its customers. Using your debit card for purchases saves you an instant 1.5% off the top of any order.

5. Shop at other sites and earn JetCash.

When you make a purchase from one of their hundreds of retail partners, Jet is going to give you back a percentage of what you spent as JetCash that you can use on future Jet orders. One dollar in JetCash is equivalent to one dollar off your next purchase on Jet. JetCash only expires if your account goes inactive for one full year.

For example, book a flight on CheapoAir, Expedia, or Orbitz, and Jet is going to pay you. Need a room once the plane lands? No worries, book a room through, and Jet is paying you 14% of what that room costs.

6. Purchase smart items together for bigger discounts.

When you’re shopping on Jet, look for items with a dollar sign next to them. These are smart items, which, when purchased together, add up to real savings. For example, you need laundry detergent? Jet is going to give you a discount when you add dryer sheets to your shopping cart. Buy tea bags, the price is cut on honey. Need shampoo, conditioner is now discounted. The more smart items in your cart, the bigger your discount when you check out.

7. Use like an online drugstore.

You’ll find the best deals are on baby products, household and office supplies, pet supplies, groceries, electronics, and health and beauty products.

8. Find these baby products 24% cheaper on Jet than on Amazon.

Jet knows a thing or two about baby products; the company was founded by the guy who started (Which, interestingly, was bought out by Amazon.) For example, a 136-count package of size 3 Pampers Swaddlers is going for $35.77 on Jet. That’s about the price you’d have to pay on Amazon for a 124-count package. But when it comes to kids, I'm never just ordering one thing. So I put together an actual order of things every new parent needs:

  • Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers, 88 counts
  • Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes Refill (624 Count)
  • 12 Pack of washcloths
  • Earth’s Best Organic My First Veggies Baby Food Starter Pack, 2.5 oz. (12 Count)
  • Symphony LX Convertible Car Seat (Harrison Model)
  • Schwinn Turismo Single Jogging Stroller

Total cost at Amazon: $529.25

Total cost at Target: $469.22

Total cost at Walmart: $453.28

Total cost at Jet: $400.15

Luckily for me (and my bank account) these baby products were smart items on Jet, so as I added each product to my cart, the prices on the following items were discounted more and more. By checkout, I could see some pretty substantial savings with Jet—my entire purchase came to $400.15—not bad!

9. Skip Walmart and spend 28% less on quality pet supplies at Jet.

I’m your average middle-class American: I have two dogs and a cat that despises them both. I always want to buy quality pet food at the best price and am always on the lookout for a good deal. I’m amazed at the savings I found on Jet when I put together this order:

  • 30 Pound bag of Iams Proactive Health Adult Large Breed Premium Dog Nutrition
  • 9 Pound box of Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Lightweight Litter
  • 6 Month supply of Frontline Plus for Dogs

Total cost at Walmart: $138.96

Total cost at Target: $133.94

Total cost at Amazon: $117.70

Total cost at Jet: $99.88

Again, all of these products were smart items on Jet so were discounted; plus, I know I am not returning the dog food or litter so I waived the free return for an additional discount.

10. Receive 15% off your first order.

Use code 15NOW to save 15% on your first order of $35 or more. Whether you're shopping for yourself, your family, or furry friends—the deals are ripe for the picking on!
