In 2022, Amazon rolled out its popular “Alexa, Thank My Driver” campaign. This offer gave shoppers the ability to give their Amazon delivery driver an automatic $5 just by saying that simple phrase into their Alexa device. Amazon did not bring back that promotion this year — and chances are they won’t, considering the promo was unveiled on the same day that Amazon was sued for allegedly stealing tips from its drivers.
However, this year we did find a new way to reward any delivery driver with a $25 gift card to Pizza Hut. Plus, this was pretty easy to participate in IF you were lucky enough to be one of the first 50 people who could claim the offer every day.
Here’s how this offer worked in 2023:
Order a FREE Pizza Hut “reverse delivery” doormat that delivery drivers from any company can scan to get $25 worth of Pizza Hut food.
It was a little confusing, but I can break it down for you: Every day from Dec. 6 to Dec. 10 starting at 9 a.m. ET, customers could order a Reverse Delivery mat online for FREE with free shipping at https://shopatpizzahut.com/. There were only 50 free mats up for grabs every morning for a total of 250 doormats.
Once you received your doormat you simply put it outside your front door making it visible to all your delivery drivers so that they could get this offer.
Through Dec. 27, any delivery driver who scans the barcode on the “reverse delivery” doormat will get a $25 gift card.
The window to score your free doormat has lapsed but if you have this doormat then you can still spread the freebie through Dec. 27, 2023. Delivery drivers can scan the barcode on the special doormat and then they can enter their name, email and shipping address. Once completed, the delivery driver will be sent a $25 Pizza Hut gift card code that can be used for any item of their choice. This is a one gift card per person promo.
And yes, any delivery driver can get the $25 Pizza Hut gift card. This promo is not just for Pizza Hut delivery drivers.
