Hot on the heels of the Dollar General Black Friday sale, an all-new 24 Days of Savings event happened at Dollar General stores Dec. 1 - 24, 2024, with daily deals that were only shoppable in stores.
With these daily deals, you could save 50% - 67% on select items like holiday mugs, lights, artificial trees, candles, paper plates, and even groceries. And some items were even cheaper than they were during Black Friday. Since we fully expect this event to return in December 2025, here's our full recap from the first go-around of the sale.

Dollar General's 24 Days of Savings was a first-ever savings event for 2024, with one special in-store discount per day.
Similar to Target's Deal of the Day, this Dollar General event features special discounts that are available for one day only in stores.
The specific sale items rotate each day, but Dollar General offers discounts on hot items including gifts, holiday decor, electronics, and even groceries during the event.
KCL predicts the next Dollar General 24 Days of Savings event will happen Dec. 1 - 24, 2025.
Dollar General hasn't announced the dates for the 2025 edition of 24 Days of Savings, but based on what they did in 2024, we expect to see it pop up again Dec. 1 - 24, 2025.
The special savings are only available in stores (and while supplies last), which is similar to Dollar General's clearance events and other in-store sales.
How do we make our prediction?
Last year, Dollar General held this event from Dec. 1 - 24, 2024, so we fully expect them to follow the same pattern in 2025.
These daily deals are only available in stores (and while supplies last).
You'll need to make a trip to the store if you spot a daily deal you want to score. And since quantities aren't guaranteed (and Dollar General doesn't do rain checks), I recommend getting to the store bright and early.
