Did you know that premium branded toilet paper is available at Walmart for a cheaper price than the generic store brand? Yeah, you read that right. We compared the cost of Cottonelle Mega Rolls with Great Value Mega Rolls and found that Cottonelle is actually cheaper. And this isn’t only the case with the overall out-of-pocket cost, but also with the price per square foot.
For example: if you purchase a 24-count package of Cottonelle Mega Rolls, you’ll pay $20.98, or $0.027 per square foot. But if you were to buy the equivalent 24-count package of Great Value Mega Rolls, you’d pay $23.98, or $0.031 per square foot. That’s a total savings of $3, or $0.004 per square foot.
