When we saw posts on social media about how you can save more than $1.40 per gallon at 7-Eleven by stacking coupon codes, and up to $0.95 off at Speedway by stacking three, you know we had to try it, especially with gas prices on everyone's mind.
And guess what we found? These stacks still work (in many locations)! Our KCL staffers saved up to $1.45 per gallon.
These are one of the biggest discounts on gas we've seen. They're even bigger than Circle K Fuel Day, and much bigger than the 20 cents off per gallon that you can get from Amazon Prime right now.

Ibotta Gas Deal
You'll need to sign up for Ibotta for this one. Every Thursday through June 4 (at 10 a.m. MT), Ibotta will be dropping. a code that unlocks a cash-back deal on gas. Last week, some users got more than $50 cash back. Here's how it works:
Step 1: Make sure you're signed up for Ibotta, have the app, and are opted in to push notifications.
Step 2: Get the code (released every Thursday at 10 a.m. MT) and enter it in the app. Step-by-step instructions here.
Step 3: Code redemptions are limited. If you get it in time, you'll see the offer under "View Offer" in the Ibotta app.
Step 4: Head to an eligible gas station (listed in the offer) and submit your paper receipt to Ibotta.
7-Eleven Gas Deal
To get this deal you'll need the 7-Eleven app. Then follow these four easy steps:
Step 1: Text codes to the number 711-711. Each code must be its own individual text message. Don't combine them, or the deal won't apply correctly.

Step 2: Check your savings in the app. After texting the codes, open the app and tap "Fuel" at the bottom of the screen. You'll see your discount per gallon displayed there. If everything worked, you should see around $1.45 off.
Step 3: Pay at the pump through the app only. Don't swipe your card at the terminal — you MUST pay via the app for the discount to apply. Tap "Pay for Fuel," select your pump number, choose your payment method, and follow the instructions.
Step 4: Fill up and enjoy your savings! The discount applies automatically. Our team saved $1.41 - $1.45 per gallon.
IMPORTANT: These codes don't work for all locations. If it isn't available in your area, you'll see "Savings aren't available at this location" when you check your app after applying the coupon codes. Also, previous codes you've redeemed could affect your ability to use any or all of the codes above.
Speedway Gas Deal
To get this deal, you'll need the Speedway app downloaded on your smartphone. Then:

Step 2: Tap the link in the text message and then enter your ZIP code, when it takes you to the app. You’ll see your discounted price at stations nearby.r.
Step 3: Go to the pump, and enter your phone number.
IMPORTANT: Your mileage may vary. No word on how long these codes will be good for, and any previous rewards you’ve claimed could affect your discount.
The Bottom Line — It's Worth It
For a few minutes of setup, saving $0.95 to $1.45 or more per gallon is hard to beat. On a 15-gallon fill-up, that's $14 (or more) back in your pocket.
