First of all, the biggest name in VR headsets — the Oculus Quest 2, aka the Meta Quest 2 — isn’t usually discounted for Black Friday. But during Black Friday Week 2023, things were different. It dropped in price by $50 at major retailers, which almost feels like an additional discount from when it dropped in price from $399 to $299 in early 2023.
And since the Meta Quest 3 is a recent release, I’m telling you now that you most likely find this on sale. But as for the Meta Quest 2, keep this post handy and check back for new info — we’ll be updating this list with the best VR headset Cyber Monday deals as they drop.

Where can I find the best VR Headset Cyber Monday deals in 2023?
Look for VR headsets at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and NewEgg this Cyber Monday.
For Black Friday week into Cyber Monday 2023, we saw discounts at Amazon, Target, and, Walmart (as listed above, at up to 20% off). The same stores and Best Buy had similar discounts in 2022. In 2021, the same offer from Oculus (now Meta) was available at these stores. If you bought an Oculus Quest 2 VR Headset on Black Friday, you’d get a $50 gift card back to that store.
If you’re an enthusiast, look for Cyber Monday deals on Amazon.

What VR Headset deals can I expect in 2024?
The Meta Quest 2 rarely goes on sale, so we were surprised to see it marked down $50 off for Black Friday 2023. You could find the discounted price of $249.99 (reg. $299.99) at Target, Amazon, and Walmart. And if you had a Target RedCard, you could save an extra 5%, bringing the price down to $237.49.
On Cyber Monday 2023, the same three retailers still kept the $50 discount, However, Amazon offered a $50 digital credit on top of your purchase, which was a pretty sweet deal.
