Michaels free craft classes for kids give families an hour window over Zoom to get creative, and you can find all of the class offerings online at Michaels.com. The projects include painting, jewelry making, seasonal crafts, and nature-inspired activities designed for children ages 5 to 12. The instruction is free, but you'll have to purchase supplies from a list provided by Michaels.
You’ll only need about 15 minutes to complete the projects on average.
Do I have to register to attend Michaels free craft classes for kids?
Yes, now that the classes are only available online, you'll have to register on the Michaels website. If you head to their class schedule, you can click on a particular project of interest. On that page, you'll see a "Book Now" section on the upper righthand side of the screen. Agree to the terms, then click "Book Now." This will take you to a registration screen. Then, ahead of the class, you'll be sent a Zoom link to join the scheduled event.
When are Michaels in-store craft classes?
For the time being at least, there aren't any in-store craft classes at Michaels. Now you'll find these online-only classes dotted throughout the week.
