In the mood for some free food on Halloween 2020? Of course you are! Plenty of different restaurants are offering freebies for the holiday. You can get everything from free kids meals and treats to promo codes for free food.

I’ve put together a full list on where to get free food on Halloween (and, in some cases, throughout October). Get ready to save a few bucks you can use on your Halloween decorations.

1. Kids eat free on Halloween at Joe’s Crab Shack.

If you stop by Joe’s Crab Shack on Halloween, you can get a free kids meal if you order an adult entree. Costumes aren’t mandatory, but definitely encouraged.


2. Get a BOGO promo code with the Chipotle Halloween deal.


The Chipotle Halloween deal, also known as Boorito, is back. For the 20th anniversary of their Boorito promotion, Chipotle is going digital and giving away half a million free BOGO codes. Just check out their Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok accounts and look for the keywords to pop up.

Then, text the keyword to 888-222 for a chance at one of the promo codes. The code is only usable on Halloween, so order fast if you get one.


3. Get a free kid’s meal at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. on Halloween.

Order an adult entree at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. on Halloween for a free kids meal with the promo code KID HALLOWEEN. Keep in mind you can only take advantage of one free meal per table.



4. Take advantage of McDonald’s free delivery through Uber Eats.

Craving a burger and fries instead of candy this Halloween weekend? From Oct. 29 to Nov. 1, order at least $25 of McDonald’s through Uber Eats and take advantage of free delivery.


5. Wear a costume for a free cookie at Insomnia Cookies!

If you’re looking for some additional sweets this Halloween, costume up before you stop by Insomnia Cookies. You can grab a cookie completely free, no purchase necessary.

6. Wear a costume for a free Krispy Kreme Halloween donut.


If you’re out and about in costume this Halloween, go to Krispy Kreme for a free donut. And while you’re there, order a dozen donuts. You’ll get your second Sweet-or-Treat Dozen for a dollar in celebration of the spooky holiday in-store or online using the promo code SWEETORTREAT.



7. Kiddo rocking a costume? Head to Smashburger for a free milkshake.

If your kid is under 12 and in costume, check out Smashburger this Halloween. You’ll get a free vanilla milkshake with any purchase!


8. Stop by 99 Restaurants for free kids’ meals.


For Halloween and every Sunday in October, your child gets a free kid’s meal at 99 Restaurants with every adult entree. Find your local 99 Restaurants and plan out your free meal.


9. Kids in costume eat free at McAlister’s Deli from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1.

Bring your costumed kiddo into McAlister’s Deli from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 for a free kids meal with every adult entree purchase. Find your closest McAlister’s location and get your costume ready!

10. Pick up a free Mr. Mummy pancake for your kid at IHOP!

From Oct. 26 to 30 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., kids 12 and younger can try out the Mr. Mummy pancake for free at IHOP. All you have to do is use the code FREEMUMMY when you order online or through the app and spend at least $20.


11. Get free Pancheros delivery Halloween week.


From Oct. 24 to Nov. 1, Pancheros is offering free delivery on all app and online orders to celebrate “Halloweek.” Download the Pancheros app to put in your order.

12. Stop by Corner Bakery Cafe for a free kids meal.

If you order an adult entree at Corner Bakery Cafe from Oct. 26 to Oct. 31, you can add a kids meal for free if your child is 12 or under. This is valid for dine in, delivery, online orders, and curbside pickup with the offer code 632.

Keep in mind this deal is at participating Corner Bakery Cafe locations only and you can only take advantage of one offer per order.


13. Trick-or-Treat at Tim Hortons for a free donut.


Pull up to a Tim Hortons drive-thru on Halloween for a free holiday-themed donut topped with chocolate fondant and orange sprinkles.



14. Bring your costumed kid to Chuck E. Cheese for a treat bag.


If you bring your costume-wearing kid into Chuck E. Cheese anytime in October, they’ll get a treat bag completely free. The bags come with sticker sheets, candy, a rechargeable band, a spider ring, and special offers on movies.

15. Grab a free piece of cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory the week of Halloween.

All week, The Cheesecake Factory is offering free slices of either the Hershey’s Chocolate Bar Cheesecake or Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake. This offer is only for DoorDash and Cheesecake Factory online orders over $30 with the promo code TREAT.


16. Drop by a QuikTrip for a free ice cream cone.

If you’re gassing up your car at the local QuikTrip this Halloween, bring the kids with you. If they’re in costume and age 12 or under, they’ll get a free vanilla ice cream cone.


17. Pick up a free Crunch bar from Blaze Pizza.

Starting at 4 p.m. local time, drop by your local Blaze Pizza on Halloween for a free full-size Crunch bar. No costume is needed, no purchase is needed. It’s just like trick-or-treating!


18. Swing by Iceberg Drive Inn for BOGO shakes.

If you live close to an Iceberg Drive Inn location, take advantage of their special Halloween deal. For the holiday, they’re offering a BOGO deal on all Iceberg Shakes.
