As part of their new Investor Connect program, AMC has announced that they’ll be giving shareholders special perks — and the first perk is a free large popcorn.
The freebie hasn’t gone live yet, but it’s expected in June before the summer movie season kicks off in earnest.

If you’re an AMC fan, chances are you’re already a member of their rewards program, AMC Stubs.
Log in to your Stubs account (or sign up for a new account), and in the profile info section, check the box indicating that you’re an investor to join Investor Connect.
Any goodies you get from being an investor will be added to your Stubs rewards.
Cost to join the investor club? $1.00.
AMC stock has jumped from $1.91/share a year ago to about $50.00 as of June 3, 2021.
You can buy AMC stock from a number of investment firms, and some (like Robinhood) let you buy a small portion of a share — for as little as $1.00.
AMC hasn’t straight-up said you have to own a full share of AMC to participate in Investor Connect, and there’s no verification process, so you’re probably good to go, even if you own 2% of one share.
