One of the most popular gifts of the 2020 holiday shopping season was the massage gun, a handheld electronic device that’s like a little jackhammer for your aching muscles.
But some of these must-have products have been recalled, and you’ll want to know if yours made the list.
Here’s what you need to know:
The Massimo Percussion Massage Gun is a potential fire hazard.

If you bought a massage gun at Costco.com — or were given one carrying the Massimo brand — it’s being recalled.
The EM003 model (in all color styles) has a lithium-ion battery that can heat, posing a potential fire hazard.
Three different incidents with the massage gun reportedly caused $15,000 in fire damage.
If you bought one, contact Massimo for a refund.

More than 12,000 of these massage guns sold between April and May exclusively at Costco.com for about $60.
Call Massimo at 877-881-6376 between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM Central on weekdays, or visit the Product Recall page at massimomotor.com.
Or just return the massage gun to a Costco warehouse.

With one of the most lenient return policies ever, count on Costco to take back the massage guns. They’re known to receive returns from Costco.com, and they’ve certainly let people return much crazier things.
