Parents (and Disney Adults) rejoice — Walt Disney World is bringing back their annual pass!

The annual passes go on sale Thursday, April 20. While an official time has not been given, some subtle wording on WDW’s website suggests 6 am ET is go time. The site reads: “The Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass and Disney Pirate Pass will resume new sales and can be purchased online no earlier than 6:00 AM Eastern Time on April 20, 2023.” So cue up the website with your credit card ready a little earlier than that. Keep refreshing that page ’til you hit jackpot.

What is the Disney World annual pass? It’s a pass that grants holders access to one or more Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in Florida for a certain period, usually a year. The passes come in different tiers, each with specific pricing, benefits, and eligibility. They went away during the Covid-19 pandemic and have apparently been requested a LOT since then.

Read on for all the details you need about the annual pass to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Disney World annual passes return April 20 — but you could get them a week earlier.

According to Disney, the Walt Disney World annual passes are limited, and they may be unavailable at any time. The quantity of annual passes hasn’t been revealed as of this time. The official release of annual passes will be on April 20, but Disney Vacation Club members were able to get the annual pass a week early — beginning on April 13 as part of “Membership Magic.”

There are four different types of Disney World annual passes — and most of them are only for Florida residents.

There are four different Disney annual passes: The Disney Pixie Dust Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Incredi-Pass. The Disney Pixie Dust Pass and Disney Pirate Pass are only eligible for Florida residents. The Disney Sorcerer Pass is available for Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club Members, while the Disney Incredi-Pass is available for all guests.

Here’s a breakdown of the different tiers:

Disney Pixie Dust Pass: $399

  • Standard theme park parking
  • Up to 20% off in discounts on selected dining and merchandise

Every Disney World annual pass comes with new benefits like free park photos.

Disney annual passholders now have access to select Disney PhotoPass benefits, though age restrictions apply. Additionally, annual pass holders can visit all Disney theme parks after 2 p.m. without a reservation (except for Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays and Sundays). Not a bad perk for Disney World ticket prices.

Note: Universal Studios Florida offers annual passes in tiers similar to Disney annual passes, but in 2-park and 3-park packages, the priciest of which is $944.99. And Six Flags has annual passes, but they vary by park and location.
