The Amazon Labor Day sale is a once-a-year, weeklong (or longer) sale that offers home and summer clearance savings
Amazon’s Labor Day sale usually includes hundreds of deals on home items, plus discounts on kitchen appliances and electronics. Not to mention the nice savings on apparel and shoes and seasonal summer clearance deals on outdoor/patio items.
In 2024, the sale ran nine days (Aug. 26 through Sept. 3). That was longer than the previous year’s 8-day Labor Day sale.

KCL predicts the 2025 Amazon Labor Day sale will start Aug. 25

How do we make our prediction?
In past years, Amazon held their Labor Day Sale from the Wednesday before Labor Day through Labor Day Monday. The 2023 sale, however, started on the Wednesday before Labor Day and ran through the following Wednesday. Then the 2024 sale broke the mold again, kicking off the Monday before Labor Day and running through the Tuesday after.
Taking that into account, we expect Amazon to repeat its 2024 game plan with a 9-day sale kicking off exactly one week before Labor Day (in other words, Aug. 25). But we wouldn’t be shocked with a return to a Wednesday-through-Monday sale.
