Get your running shoes and game face on because it’s about to get real with Dollar Tree Black Friday deals. Let’s face it; over the last few years, more and more retailers have joined the marathon with weeklong — or monthlong — Black Friday promotions. What we do know about Dollar Tree is they do run Black Friday deals; they’re a little bit quirky — which is okay with us. Since Black Friday isn’t a one-and-done sale at Dollar Tree, we’ve put them on our list of seven stores you can skip on Black Friday. Let’s get into all the details that make Dollar Tree’s Black Friday sales unique.
If you do shop over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Dollar Tree store hours and opening times vary by location, so plan ahead.

1. Expect the Dollar Store Black Friday ad to drop on Nov. 13, 2022.

Last year, the Dollar Store Black Friday ad was released two Sundays before the big day. We’re expecting the pattern to continue this year, so expect to see it on Nov. 13. But keep an eye out for a sneak peek on Friday, Nov. 11, if you’re signed up to receive Dollar Tree emails.
Honestly, you don’t have to wait for the Black Friday ad. Dollar Store starts putting holiday items out as early as Labor Day, and deals are already available. There are certain decor lines that’ll be released closer to Thanksgiving, but for the most part, the sales have already started.
What are Dollar Tree’s Thanksgiving hours in 2022?
Dollar Tree Thanksgiving hours may vary depending on location, but generally speaking, we’re expecting Dollar Tree to be open on Thanksgiving in 2022. In fact, some locations may even be running extended hours.
Dollar Tree Black Friday Hours
Hours can vary by location, but many Dollar Tree locations have extended hours on Black Friday.
2. Dollar Tree prices don’t drop any lower on Black Friday. In fact, Black Friday is a little more expensive this year.

In 2022, Dollar Tree upped their prices from the intuitive $1/product up to $1.25/product. That means this year’s Black Friday deals will be a little more expensive than in years past.
3. Many Dollar Tree ‘Black Friday’ deals are already live.

When does Dollar Tree put out Christmas stuff ? Every tear, Dollar Tree starts putting holiday items out around Labor Day, and prices are always $1.25. So if you see something you like, scoop it up now. There’s no point in waiting.
4. Most – but not all – Black Friday deals are available at DollarTree.com.

For the most part, you can access all the same deals online as in store. There are a few product lines listed in the Black Friday ad that you can only find in store.
TIP: While you can shop deals online, you won’t be able to exchange any items you purchase on DollarTree.com. You can only exchange items you bought in store.
5. Expect to see deals on these decor lines later in the season.

You can purchase most items either online or in store, but there are certain product lines — like Cobblestone Corners Christmas Village — that you can only purchase in person. These lines tend to get put out later in the season.
You might not have to wait until Black Friday to see them, but the closer you get to the holiday, the more likely you are to find them.
6. You have to buy in bulk for many Dollar Tree Black Friday deals.

There are tons of individual holiday items you can get for $1.25 regardless of quantity.
But some of Dollar Tree’s most coveted holiday items require you to buy in bulk. For example, that popular Christmas Village line requires a minimum purchase of 27 items to score the $1.25 price.
If you’re super into Christmas villages, that might be worth it to you. But it’s not like you can just walk out with one piece — you’re going to need to spend a minimum of $33.75.
7. If you want to do exchanges, do it quickly.

The Dollar Tree return policy gives you forever to exchange anything — except holiday items. You can only exchange holiday items while there are still holiday items out on the floor.
So if you want to exchange something you bought during Black Friday, it’s wise to plan on exchanging it before the last week of the year or earlier.
